Today I have an Antique style card using Sahara Sand, Sweet Sugar Plum and Mint Macaron, along with 3 different stamp sets, Avant Garden, Delicate Details (both Sale-a-bration sets) and Touches of Texture.

Oh, and check out the lace stamp!!! Yes, because they are photopolymer and are so pliable, you can bend them onto your blocks to create a different look!!!

The sentiment is from the Avant Garden stamp set, which is one of the two Sale-a-bration FREE stamp sets I have used on this card!

I’m not sure if you can see the Wink of Stella on the flowers, but it just adds that extra little shine 😉

Paper Piecing

Dear Crafters,

Today I have created a card using the Paper Piecing Technique, not to be confused with the Paper Piercing Technique!

This technique is quite easy, but you need to like fussy cutting!!!!

I stamped the floral image onto the chosen Designer Series Paper and then fussy cut out the flowers petals with Paper Snips. I did the same for the leaves, but onto a different designer paper.

Stamp the image again (stem) onto your Very Vanilla card and then glue the fussy cut pieces over the top.

I added the cute little ribbon bow, using some of the metallic ribbon that I got for FREE during Saleabration when I placed a $90 order!!!

On the left side of the card, I kept the die cut in full, but on the right, I cut out only a small section before adhering it to the card!

Window Box Ribbon Dispenser

Dear Crafters,

Today I have used the Window Box Framelits to create a Ribbon Dispenser.

I posted this on one of our private Stampin’ Up! Facebook Forums, and the response I got was enormous (over 1.3k likes) and so many requests for a tutorial on how I made it.

I love the detail on each end and you can decorate it with any Designer Series Paper!!!

Birthday Blast

Dear Crafters,

Today my youngest daughter has a birthday party to attend and this little 7 year old loves pink apparently. That was the first step in deciding what colours to use, and next decision was what stamps and/or dies to use.

I haven’t yet inked up my Birthday Blast stamp set, so I got that our and the coordinating edgelits, Star Blast.

Oh, and check out the Blushing Bride Glimmer Star Blast!!!

See the stars scattered around the card? Well those came out of the edgelits and I wasn’t going to waste them! I added some Wink of Stella to the stamped stars.

What do you think of this quick and easy card? This would look good in so many colour combinations and can be masculine, feminine or whatever you want really!!!

Today I have used the Window Box Thinlits dies to create a card!

I love copper metallic thread wound around the card. I tied another small piece through the centre in a knot to tie them together.

The sentiment from the Balloon Adventures stamp set, is heat embossed with copper embossing powder.

I just love the shine of the copper through the black!

Paper Piecing with Beautiful You

Today I have another card using the Beautiful You stamp set but I’ve only stamped the top part of the stamp and altered the dress!

I love this Falling in Love Designer Series paper and with this lace pattern, it just reminded me of a gorgeous lacy dress, so I created a larger dress for this image!

Well as you know, I attended the Stampin’ Up! OnStage Live event in Brisbane 2 weeks ago and my team had a blast of a time! It was a time where we receive a copy of the brand new Occasions catalogue and Saleabration brochure. Woohoo!

I have used Pink Pirouette, Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla. I stamped the background using the brand new Delicate Details stamp set, a Saleabration item. This means that when you purchase product to the value of $90, you can choose this stamp set for FREE!

Check out these new Stitched Shapes Framelits which are also new. These are a pre-released and will definitely be in the next Annual catalogue. So exciting, I just adore them!

I love how glamorous the Gold embossing looks and the gold glimmer bow adds that extra touch of class!
