Farewell card using Stampin’ Up!s Painted Harvest

Hello Friends,

My project today uses the Painted Harvest stamp set to create a Farewell card.

Farewell card using Stampin Up Painted Harvest, by Kate Morgan, Independent Demonstrator, Australia. Fancy #makeacardsendacard upright.JPG

The base card is Night of Navy and the flowers are stamped in Night of Navy, Dapper Denim and Pool Party. The centre of the flowers are stamped with Soft Suede. The leaves are Pear Pizzazz.

I also stamped the flower and leaves on the inside of the card.

The sentiment was created on the computer and printed in Night of Navy using the RGB codes and I used the retired Word Window punch (still a favourite).

The gingham ribbon gives that country look, but still coordinating with the flowers!

Look at those leaves shining on this card. This is the new Champagne Foil that is now available from the Holiday catalogue. I love it even more than any of the other foil colours we have, and I sure hope they keep it and add it into the next annual catalogue.

I have to thank my lovely friend, Kimberly Hern who came to stamp with me last weekend and she let me borrow this bundle to play with. I am trying to resist buying it, but it is just such a gorgeous artistic set and so different to lots of the usual Stampin’ Up! style. Thanks Kim for inspiring me!

Rock N Roll with Beautiful Bouquet

Hello Friends,

Today I am sharing my June ATC Swap that I made as part of our wider Art With Heart Team monthly ATC swaps. I have used Stampin’ Up!s Beautiful Bouquet Bundle which as you know is my favourite bundle in the Annual catalogue and this challenge was to use the Rock N Roll technique. The Rock and Roll technique is a great way to add a variation of colour to your stamped images!

Rock N Roll Technique using Stampin Ups Beautiful Bouquet by Kate Morgan, Independent Demonstrator Australia @craftwithkate.JPG

ATC Swaps are 2½” x 3½” cards. Each month a different technique is chosen and for every participant, you make that number of cards, exactly the same. We send them all to the organiser with a stamped self addressed envelope and once she has them all from each participant, she sends one of each back in our envelope! It’s a wonderful way of learning new techniques without having to create full size cards.

Click here to watch a video tutorial on this technique.

What do you think of this technique? Would you give it a try?!

Happy stamping!
