Welcome back Crisp Cantaloupe: A little extra wow card with template

Welcome to the Colour Creations Instagram Hop. You can follow us on Instagram starting  @craftwithkate. Each week we will showcase the Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order.

Week 2 – Crisp Cantaloupe

This week we feature our 2nd new In Color™ which is also a returning In Color™ from 2013-2015 – you may remember it! I sure do as I had just joined Stampin’ Up! in March 2013!

The Lovely and Beautiful Specialty DSP coordinates perfectly with Crisp Cantaloupe. The Petal Pink in this paper is a lighter shade of Crisp Cantaloupe and don’t you think it looks amazing together?!!!

I’ve also used the Beautifully Celebrated dies for the feature on the front with the Simply Beautiful Bundle (stamps & dies) for the sentiment and the floral arrangement. The Crisp Cantaloupe flowers have some ink blending on them before gluing the layers together. It is placed on with a Mini Dimensional and some Peaceful Pine leaves glued underneath. The sentiment is stamped in Versamark ink, Gold WOW Emboss Powder added and melted with my Heat Tool. This was fussy cut and added on Dimensionals.

I love how that gorgeous, patterned paper with the gold foiling, flows across the card. The reverse side of this paper is the Petal Pink which is in the centre of the feature and inside panels.  Some 2026-2028 In Color™ Dots are added to finish the card front.

Open the card and you have more beautiful patterned paper and room to write your message to the recipient. In the bottom corner (and on the envelope), I stamped the large flower and added a light bit of blending left over on the blending brush.

Here is my template

to decorate the front and inside panels

SDSP 1: 7cm x 14cm (front) & 3cm x 14cm (inside)
SDSP 2: 7cm x 14cm (2) inside left and centre
Basic White: 6cm x 13cm

Thanks for dropping by. I hope you join us again when we embark on the new 2026-2028 In Color™, Golden Glow.

Be sure to add the Product of the Month (POM) for $9 when you add $125+ in product to your cart.

Week 45 – Pretty Peacock

Today’s fun fold card was surprisingly much easier to make than it looks.

The Lily Pond Lane Designer Papers are the main feature, even the ducks are fussy cut from the papers!

Here’s a side view

On the back is where you write your message!

Today’s fun fold card was inspired by Claire @ Created the Ottaway. Click here to watch her tutorial.

Thanks for dropping by. I hope you join me next Wednesday for inspiration using Pumpkin Pie
