All Aflutter Card Sketch #20

Week 12 – Bubble Bath

With Bubble Bath being our focus colour tis week, I made some cute cards using my card sketch #20. I’m using these the following products:

Using the Bubble Bath pages of the DSP I used both sides of the paper to create each card.

Card 1 – is a Basic White card base, layered with Bubble Bath card then the DSP. The centre section is Bubble Bath layered with Basic White then the reverse side of the DSP. The sentiment is White heat embossed onto Bubble Bath card then I used my snips to create the banner. The butterflies are stamped in Bubble Bath ink onto Basic White card and cut out with the All Aflutter Punch. Some Wink of Stella was added to the butterflies. The 3rd butterfly was added to the inside of the card. A White Baker’s Twine bow and some Festive Pearls to finish.

This is my card sketch template I used

Card 2 – uses the same sketch, but the card stock colours are reversed, and I used the second design in the DSP pack.

There are two sides to Stampin’ Up! DSPs, so why not use both sides, right?!!!

These cards are so and quick and easy to create and you can do multiples at a time, plus by changing the sentiment, you could use them for any occasion.

Which one do you like best?

Balmy Blue: Three Panel Spring Card

Welcome to the Colour Creations Instagram Hop. You can follow us on Instagram starting @craftwithkate. Each week we will showcase the Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order.

Week 7 – Balmy Blue

My card this week has three really cool springy sections on the front of the card, but they fold flat for the card to fit into a standard C6 envelope.

I have used the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP with the bold stripes giving a classic look. The centre panel is dry embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.

The feature image is using the Help Me Grow stamp set and coordinating dies and blending brushes to colour them. I’ve used Balmy Blue, Blueberry Bushel and Soft Sea Foam. I stamped the dotty image along the left side oof the pot and base in Versamark ink, added Copper WOW Emboss Powder, tapped off the excess and melted it with my Heat Tool. The All Aflutter stamp set butterflies are done in the same way and cut wsith the coordinating All Aflutter Punch.

Here’s a view from the top to see the spring panels and how they spring up when taken out of the envelope.

On the inside is a Balmy Blue matt layer then a Basic White layer. I have used the negative from a die cut to use as a mask to add some ink with Blending Brushes. I also did this on the front corner of the envelope. Another copper embossed butterfly added also.
