Crushed Curry: Mosaic Garden Thank You Card

Week 19 – Crushed Curry

My card this week features the Mosaic Garden DSP with the Hot Foiling System and Gold Foil with the Classic Greetings Hot Foil dies and the Flourish and Frames Hot Foil dies. The All Aflutter Bundle (stamps and coordinating Punch) also feature and go perfectly with these gorgeous, patterned papers.

A Crushed Curry card base with a layer of the DSP in the Hydrangea Hue pattern (looks like cardstock really), then the DSP. But before I adhered the DSP, I placed it onto my Cut and
Emboss Machine with the larger frame die and smaller die in the centre of it, and ran it through. This created the cut out section and the smaller frame piece to be added later.

On some Hydrangea Hue Two-Tone cardstock, I foiled the gold frame in my Hot Foiling System, then die cut it out and adhered in to the centre, so it fit snuggly into the hollow space. Now I could adhere the smaller DSP Frame. The sentiment was foiled the same way and die cut using the coordinating die. I also die cut it again in Crushed Curry card and layered it below for the extra shadow.

The butterflies are stamped in Crushed Curry ink onto Basic White card, punched out and glued to the card. The one on the front, I added a Mini Dimensional behind each wing, so it sits up. Some Wink of Stella to colour it and add some glimmer at the same time!

On the inside I added the extra frame leftover from the front and adhered it onto a white die cut the same size so I can write my message. Plus, some extra butterflies, seeing as you get three in the one Punch.
