Today I have another card using the Beautiful You stamp set but I’ve added another crafty tool to this one and I think I’ve done okay!!!

I love this Designer Series paper and wanted to see how well it went with this stamp set, and I reckon it goes really well, and check out my stitching… yes, I pulled out the old trusty sewing machine and put in some navy thread and added some sewing to my card!!!

The Watercolour Pencils make colouring very easy with the AquaPainter.

and those sentiments, they are just adorable! I have stamped them onto vellum and glued them to the card using Tombo Multipurpose Adhesive.

Those Stitched Shapes Framelits add the extra touch, especially with the scallop circle die behind in vellum!

Happy New Year 2017

Happy New Year!!!

Let’s hope 2017 brings us more joy and happiness than 2016 did.

Today I have the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits with the Watercolour Pencils and AquaPainter!

I just added some of the pencils in a row from top to bottom and then swished the AquaPainter from left to right and down the page. So simple and so effective!

Well it is nearly the end of 2016 and in a way, I am glad to see this year over and very much looking forward to a happier and healthier 2017.

Now that Christmas is over, I am now focusing on the brand new products in the Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogues available from 4th January!

Today I have the Beautiful You stamp set. When I first saw this particular image, I just knew she had to have a hula hoop swinging around!

The background was sponged using the Seasonal Decorative Masks which are currently on sale for $7.00. You get 4 masks for that price too. It’s a bargain!!!

To draw the Hula Hoop, I used the inside of the smallest Oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits using a black Sharpie pen!!!

I love these Watercolour Pencils, they make colouring super easy and you can use either the Blender Pen or AquaPainter to blend the colour. I have also added some Wink of Stella to her hat!

Hey chicky, lets shake em!

Happy Boxing Day!

Are you hitting the Boxing Day sales in town or are you staying clear of them like me, and enjoying the peace and quiet at home, stamping?!!!

Today I have a cute shaker card using the new Occasions and Sale-a-bration products available from 4th January!

I think this stamp set Hey, Chick is going to be very popular! These funny little chickens just make me smile 🙂

I love a good shaker card too, so I added some brown rice inside my shaker card. It just reminds me of chicken food lol.

To create the background, I added ink to the embossing folder before running it through the Big Shot. This gives the effect of chicken wire!

I coloured the chickens with our new Watercolour Pencils and used a Blender Pen to blend the colour. You will be totally amazed at how well it works on Whisper White card, Shimmery White card and even better, the Watercolour Paper!

And don’t forget to decorate the inside of your card too!

Well, it’s almost Christmas…. only 2 more sleeps until Santa arrives! Who is excited?!!

Today I have my completed scrapbooking pages that I had started and shared with you back in October. You can see that post here.

I have added my photos of my girls making our gingerbread, which has become our family tradition at the beginning of December each year.

Did you also notice the mini calendar? Well, there’s a story behind that!

Each year, I purchase about 25 of these mini calendars to make Calendar Easel Cards and I always have one or two left over. So this year, I have incorporated the individual pages into my scrapbooking pages!!!!

A great idea to use them up without feeling guilty throwing them in the bin. Just circle the date the photos were taken for a quick and fun way to add a date to your page.

And here is another page, this time celebrating my daughter receiving her Green Certificate at swimming, which took over 12 months to achieve. We didn’t think we would ever see this day, so certainly a memorable moment to scrapbook!

At this time of year, I love making Calendar cards. They give the recipient something to display all year long.

These Large Number framelits are the perfect addition!!!

Check out those stunning die cut flowers under the calendar, aren’t they gorgeous? These are called So Detailed Thinlits and they are brand new in the Occasions catalogue, available from 4th January. Also the background is stamped with the coordinating stamp set, So in Love.

Today I share a gift idea that I have been making for Christmas gifts for some crafty people who will appreciate them.

I keep my ribbons on small shelving but I find they sometimes roll off and unroll and then I have ribbons everywhere! You know what I mean, right?!!!

Well, I did a search on YouTube and found this nifty idea by Linda Parker, a UK demonstrator and had to make one or two or three!!!

I have used the new Falling in Love DSP with Blushing Bride cardstock as the base. This DSP will be available on 4th January 2017.

And I love these Stitched Shapes Framelits, they give that little bit of added detail!
