This next card also features the Gold Metallic Specialty Paper with the Scalloped Contour Dies. The Greenery Embossing Folder was used on the card base to get that lovely leafy embossed texture.

The owl is one of the preprinted pieces from the Pack and it is popped up on dimensionals. A small tag is die cut and ‘thanks’ stamped on it and placed just below, as though the owl is delivering an important message!

On the inside of both cards, I stamped the sentiment, added a strip of the DSP and another image from the pack!

I love the patterned paper that can be earned free during Sale-a-bration 2021 with a $180AUD product order. You also get this stamp set too!!!

I love blueberries and this was the first card I had to make with the Stamp in the Round or Wreath builder technique using the Stamparatus.

The leaves are stamped in Granny Apple Green and the Blueberries are Pacific Point with Night of Navy outline.

The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy ink to coordinate with the matt layers. The Double Oval Punch is a fantastic addition to my craft supplies and I know I will use it heaps, especially when you can cut both ovals at once!

Monthly Creative Showcase: Art Gallery with Gilded Leafing

Tonight’s card is simply stunning with the addition of the gold gilded leafing – WOW, this stuff is just to die for!!!

The Art Gallery Bundle has this gorgeous two step stamped flower which I have inked in Pool Party and then the second layer is stamped in Versamark. Add Heat and Stick Powder, shake off the excess, then heat it with a Heat Tool. This melts the powder so you can then add some of the Gilded Leafing flakes. I use my finger to rub it around over all the sticky powder. I find this the most effective way of adding it efficiently. A little tip with the Gilded Leafing – do not use when you have a fan on, the windows open if it’s breezy outside or it you are about to sneeze. Ask me how I know, LOL. It is so light, it flies everywhere!!!

The sentiment is from the Many Messages Bundle – a wonderful stamp set (all sentiments on 1 stamp) and the die cuts out each one individually in one pass on the Cut & Emboss Machine! Use your Stamparatus to ink up the stamp for a perfect impression.

Thank You Petal Promenade

Tonight’s card is using some soon to retire products from the Annual catalogue. This stunning Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper is glorious and makes me smile with all all those gorgeous blooms. I can almost smell them!

The colours are also soon to retire, so if you love them too, you need to get them before they are gone. Tranquil Tide, Fresh Fig and Powder Pink are three of the In Colours of 2017-2019. I just love the 3 of them together.

This Dotted Tulle ribbon will also retire and it has been super popular with its softness and dotted pattern. The sentiment is stamped on white card and the 2″ circle punch to cut it out. Then I layered it onto a Fresh Fig Starburst punched piece.

This card is a Trifold card which Ronda Wade shared recently, but I have altered the measurements for our Australian card sizes. You can see how it opens here:

I just love how pretty this paper is, so I didn’t want to cover it up! Even the marble pattern on the inside gives it extra glamour!

Measurements:
5⅝” x 12” piece of Designer Series paper and score at 4” and 8”.
Place 3¾” x 5⅜” white card inside centre panel to write on.
Centre the folded DSP onto Tranquil Tide card base of 4⅛” x 5⅞” for extra sturdiness.
2″ circle punch & Starburst punch for embellishment with ribbon tied behind.
Use left over DSP Strip to decorate the inside of the card or envelope!

Colour Creations: Smoky Slate in a Wonderful Monotone Romance

Welcome back to another Art With Heart Team Colour Creations weekly Blog Hop. Today we are featuring our 46th colour; Smoky Slate.

I have gone with a Monotone card using this gorgeous Wonderful Romance stamp set and the coordinating Wonderful Floral Framelits (both products are retiring on 3 June unless sold out prior) so make sure you add them to your shopping cart now!

The card base is Smoky Slate with a layer of Whisper White with 1″ panels in the above colours.

Then I stamped the images in Stazon ink and used the AquaPainter to watercolour the images with ink refills. I also added Wink of Stella to the flowers and those tiny leaves. I love those black embossed die cut leaves behind for a dramatic effect!

I added some bling with basic rhinestones to the centre of each flower!

Colour Creations: Shaded Spruce for a Tropical Chic Thank you!

Welcome back to another Art With Heart Team Colour Creations weekly Blog Hop featuring our 45th colour; Shaded Spruce. Wow, can you believe there are only 5 more colours to go?!

How cool is this tropical card using lots of the Tropical Escape DSP, some simple stamping and some embossing to add some shine!

That large leaf is stamped in Granny Apple Green ink and then I used a sponge dauber to add some extra tone with Shaded Spruce ink around the edges before stamping it onto some White card.

How beautiful does that copper embossed flower look on the Petal Pink card stock? It looks even better in real life, as the card stock has similar tones! I have popped these stamped pieces up on dimensionals.

I love how this bundle has framelits for cutting out the stamped images, but also dies that emboss the card stock – see those Sahara Sand leaves?!!!!

I love that Braided Linen Thread which is super soft and very easy to tie in a knot.

On the inside of the card I added the simple sentiment, which is so true for why I have made this card. It’s going to be one of the many thank you cards I am needing to make at the moment to send to people who have been so generous in helping me regain my independence.
