Blossoming Basket Bundle & Hello Stamparatus

Dear Crafters,

I am so excited, my Stamparatus (stamp positioning tool) which will be available in the upcoming Annual Catalogue, arrived this week just in time to create this card.

Stamparatus

I was able to stamp the basket using the right side plate and then the sentiment, butterfly and the tag on the top plate, stamping all 3 images at once!!! How cool is that?!!!

The images were stamped with Archival Black ink onto Shimmery White card. I used the blender pen with inkpads to colour the images, to allow for the required shading I wanted.

I loved how this card turned out, so I wanted to share it with my class ladies on Saturday. They were stunned with the Stamparatus and also loved this bundle. I allowed them to colour their image with whatever tones they liked. They chose Berry Burst, Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder & Perfect Plum. Which one is your favourite?

Stunning Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit

Dear Crafters,

Today I share a quick and easy card using the Sweet Soiree Embellishment kit & Sweet Soiree Designer Series Paper from the Occasions catalogue.

The blue punched detail behind the Designer Series Paper is Marina Mist card cut with the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch and only a small amount showing, as I only wanted a hint of blue. The floral image is some of the vellum embellishments from the kit, which has been coloured using Stampin’ Blends markers.

The Stitched Shapes Framelits are cut in glossy white card and added with dimensionals. The metal embellishments are from the Petal Passion Suite and are added with a glue dot. The Berry Burst Metal Edged ribbon was added with a small staple before the DSP was glued to the front of the card.

Blooms of Heartfelt Sympathy

Dear Crafters,

Today I share a sympathy card using the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set from the Saleabration brochure, which you can select for FREE with any $90 order!

It is never easy to create a sympathy card when you need one, but having some on hand makes the journey so much easier when it is required. So today, I have this quick and easy card for that very occasion.

This card is 4¼” x 4¼” in Rich Razzleberry, layered with Whisper White.

Look at the detail in this stamp!!!! When I opened the stamp case, I took one look at this floral stamp and thought it was so flat and wouldn’t have very much detail, it even felt flat and smooth to touch, but I was so glad to be proven wrong. Check it out!

The images are stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink and then I coloured it lightly with my Watercolour Pencils. Oh and I adore the font in the sentiment, it is so pretty!

Triple Time Technique with Petal Palette

Dear Crafters,

Today I share these wonderful cards that the ladies made at my first class for 2018 last Saturday, using the Petal Palette stamp set in the Occasions catalogue. They were amazed at this technique and were happy to be able to take home a written tutorial to be able to recreate them in their own time (one of the perks of attending my classes).

We made two cards, one was the centred layers and the other was a side step layer. We started with the side step layer card to show them the basics of how it works, then the next card I allowed them to choose which stamps they would like to use from the set. You can see that they chose different combinations, which was fantastic to see what they came up with. I also had one of the Saleabration stamp sets, Heartfelt Blooms, which they could use the sentiment, Thinking of You in that pretty font.

Today I share this pretty card using the Friendship’s Sweetest Thoughts stamp set in the Occasions catalogue.

I began with a Bermuda Bay card base and layered it up with a piece of Melon Mambo… I adore this colour combo! A piece of the Delightful Daisy DSP was added.

Next I stamped the image on Whisper White card with Archival Black ink and coloured with the Watercolour Pencils then blended them with the Blender Pens.

This image is then die cut with the Lots of Labels Framelits die and adhered with Tombo Multipurpose glue. I added a bow with some retired ribbon to finish it off perfectly.

Wow, Petal Passion DSP meets Stampin’ Blends!

Dear Crafters,

Today I share a card focusing on the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper in the Occasions catalogue. This pack of papers are all black and white and very bold prints. But wait until you see what I have done to them!!! You won’t believe it’s the same pack of paper!

I started colouring the floral images with the Stampin’ Blends Markers and it looked great, but then I coloured the background of the DSP with the Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends marker and it just looked amazing!

The shading in the images is part of the DSP, so it makes it even easier to colour and get the shading effect.

Today I share my favourite suite in the new Occasions catalogue as I have previously mentioned and I just love how many items are in this Petal Passion Suite.

Petal Passion Suite

I am using Pool Party as my base card with a layer of the Petal Passion DSP. Yes, these papers are black and white and can look quite harsh at first, but wait until you see them with some colour!

I coloured the DSP with my Stampin’ Blends; Calypso Coral Combo, Old Olive Combo and Pool Party Light for the background. What a difference it makes!!!

I also coloured the bird with the Pool Party Combo blends pack and the Colour Lifter. I die cut some vellum circles using the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies and glued them down by lightly sponging on some Tombo Multipurpose glue, so you can’t see it. I then added some of the gold metallic ⅛” ribbon and tied another piece in a bow and added it with a glue dot.

The sentiment is heat embossed with gold embossing powder and it looks stunning on that framelit.

The gold strips down each side of the DSP is some Washi tape.

I stamped the floral images in black ink onto Melon Mambo card x 6 and fussy each of them; 3 in full and 3 of the just the 4 centre petals. I placed these on top with a dimensional behind them and added a clear faceted gem to the centres.

I stamped the same floral image in Pool Party onto the white panel two times. Then I used the Emerald Envy and Dapper Denim Stampin’ Write Markers to colour the stamp before stamping it on the edge of the white panel. These were the same colours used for the sentiment.

I stamped the sunshine image onto the base card, before adding the white panel. Then I glued on the flowers and added a piece of white baker’s twine.
