Dear Crafters,

I am officially addicted to the Christmas Pines Bundle! Because today I have another project using this amazing set. I also adore this Designer Series Paper, Presents & Pinecones. You can see two different designs here, but it is actually 1 sheet with each design on either side!!!

and the copper embossing powder is simply stunning, so much better than I was expecting it to be and it works perfectly on these pine cones!

And once again, I have coloured the rhinestones this time, with a red Sharpie pen to create little berries!

Well, what a busy weekend we had, netball grading games, 3 birthday parties, and Father’s Day celebrations… I think I need a holiday. lol

Can you see all that copper?!! Not only the sentiment and the pine cone are copper, but check out the washi tape. That is from the Affectionately Yours Designer Washi Tape pack and it coordinates perfectly!

This first one is a sympathy card that I made for a work colleague who lost her father last week following a short illness. I wanted to make it feminine but also added some Dapper Denim in memory of her dad!

I decorated the inside of the card and the envelope to match!

This next card is amazingly using the same stamp set and just shows the versatility of this bundle. A Christmas card using the gorgeous Emerald Envy and Cherry Cobbler.

This card was looking a little plain and needed something else, so I added the twine bow to finish the card. It was just what it needed. I love this sentiment too!

View Finder card

Dear Crafters,

Today I share a View Finder card which I saw a tutorial on YouTube, but she called it a Spinning Card. It reminded me very much of the old view finder we had as a kid, so that is what I am calling it!

I used the Thoughtful Banners, Confetti Celebration and the Blooms & Wishes stamp sets.

Last week I shared a card using the Hostess stamp set, Love you Lots and today I have a few  more cards made with the same set!

I love all of the images in this set, especially these two cute ladybugs.

Check out the shine on the ladybugs and the frog. I simply added some Crystal Effects, or I have heard that the fine tip glue pen will also give you the same look!

Flourish with Sympathy

You know those sad occasions when you need to send someone a sympathy card and you don’t have some already made? Well today I have made one for that very day when unfortunately we need one.

This card is white with Rich Razzleberry and what a stunner colour combination!

I love all the textures in this card, from the Petal Burst embossed background, to the Flourish Framelit to the Pansy and Petite Petals flower.

I also added some of the new Copper Metallic thread behind the Pansy, not sure if you can see it, as it is so fine.

Blooms & Wishes

Dear Crafters,

Today I have created a card that could be used for many different occasions, as it is so veratile. You have to check out the designer paper too, it is my favourite in this annual catalogue!

I started by adding a piece of designer paper to the card base and cut a strip of Island Indigo to the same length. A piece of white card was cut slightly smaller and then I randomly stamped the floral images and the sentiment before gluing them all together.

I added a strip of crumb cake which was punched with a retired border punch under the decorated strip. I punched the flowers in coordinating cardstock and added rhinestones. I love the watercolour look of these stamps!

The sentiment is also from the same stamp set. I adore this Designer Series Paper, it is certainly my favourite pack in this new annual catalogue. Be sure to visit over the next few weeks as I share many more projects with these papers.

Baby, Stampin' Up!

Today I have a card that I couldn’t wait to create using the brand new Baby Bear stamp set. Check him out, how cute is he?

I started by embossing the background of the card using the new Petal Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Next I stamped the baby bear 3 times starting with Sahara Sand ink, Crumb Cake and then Soft Suede for the final layer.

I used the largest of the plain squares from the new Layered Squares framelits to cut the white layer and then the largest of the scallop squares in Island Indigo card and joined them together with dimensionals.

The sentiment is also from the same stamp set. Isn’t this just the most adorable baby bear?!

Today I have another Shaker card using lots of new products from the Annual Catalogue. This one has more of a masculine feel to it, using the gorgeous Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy In Colours.

The base card I stamped first with the little lights at the top and then the stars all over the card, leaving a blank space where the easel is to go. The easel is stamped and then I die cut the centre using the Layered Square framelits and then fussy cut the easel.

The sentiment is from the new Thoughtful Banners stamp set and the coordinating Dual Banner punch.

The bits inside the shaker are created using the new Sprinkles punch. The new foam adhesive strips make creating shaker cards so much easier, be sure to get some in your next order.

And check out that gorgeous ruched ribbon. Can you see the Wink of Stella on the little stars?! You know me, even though it’s a masculine card, a little sparkle on the stars was a must! lol

Lovely as a Tree

Dear Crafters,

Today I focus on the Lovely as a Tree stamp set, as it is always a point of discussion when a new catalogue is made available to demonstrators!

I wasn’t able to attend the recent Stampin’ Up! event on the weekend and so I have no idea if this set has made it into the new annual catalogue or not.

Anyway, I am going to give it a plug anyway as it has been around for many years and is such a versatile stamp set for so many occasions, but today a masculine theme for some sympathy cards.

Here we go!

My colour scheme for this one is very monotone in Basic Gray and Smoky Slate!

and this next one is using Chocolate Chip and Always Artichoke.

 

Don’t forget to decorate the inside of your card & envelope too!

I can’t wait to find out if this has made it into the new catalogue, but I guess I will find out tomorrow when, we as demonstrators, can view it online before everyone else!!!! I can’t wait to see what is new and what is retiring, one of the benefits of being a demonstrator, is finding out first!
