I am featuring the Dressed to Impress stamp set and coordinating Best Dressed Designer Series Paper.

Feminine A-line dress card

Tonight’s card uses the gorgeous Dressed to Impress Bundle. As you know, I love this suite of products with some of my favourite colours in the DSP.

I used the bag die and only cut out a portion of it with some of this stunning DSP to create an A-line dress with a string of pearls!

My base is Blackberry Bliss card, also with a layer of the same card embossed with the Scripty 3D embossing folder. I wiped the edges along the Versamark Inkpad, added Gold Emboss Powder and heat set it. The dress is glued to the card and a string of pearls added. The sentiment is also gold embossed.

The lipstick was inked with Blackberry Bliss onto Whisper White card, die cut and coloured with Blends and the tip of the lipstick, using the Wink of Stella in the inkpad. The shoe is stamped on Flirty Flamingo card and I just used Wink of Stella to add some glimmer.

On the inside I simply stamped a shoe, then masked it and stamped the second shoe above so it appears to be behind!

Tonight’s project is a post it note holder with a difference!

This one is in the shape of the Stitched Nested Labels dies from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue combined with the Dressed to Impress Bundle from the 2020 Mini Catalogue.

I adore the Best Dressed Suite of products, with the stunning colours in the Designer Paper; Basic Gray, Blackberry Bliss, Daffodil Delight, Lovely Lipstick, Mint Macaron, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Pretty Peacock, Purple Posy, Whisper White.

PostIt Note holder with Stitched Nested Label dies using Stampin Up Best Dressed Suite 2020 Mini by Kate Morgan, Australia.

This idea was CASED from Jeanette Cobb (USA), however I used different size label dies and I added extra length to the 2″ strip, so it could fold down into the box to hold the pen in place!

I used the two largest dies and the 2nd smallest one for the sentiment. My strip was 2″ x 11⅝”, scored at 1½”, 3″, 6⅜”, 7⅞”, 9⅜”. The score down the length at ½” on both sides. The rest of the instructions see Jeanette’s YouTube instructions.

Best Dressed Arrow Fold Card

This Best Dressed Suite is so pretty and the Designer Paper is absolutely stunning. I love all the colours in it and today I have created an arrow fold card. I searched the internet for many different types of fancy fold cards and came up with this one. I couldn’t find one with instructions for Australian measurements, but it was pretty easy to work out!

Colours: Purple Posy, Petal Pink, Mossy Meadow & Old Olive

Aren’t these new Stitched So Sweetly dies gorgeous? I just love the stitching and the different shapes in the one set for beautiful layering. They were one of the first items into my shopping bag!

On the inside, I used the extra pieces of the DSP and some white card for adding a sentiment when required.

Best Dressed in town!

How cute is this Best Dressed Suite of Products?!! Find them on page 54 of the new Mini catalogue!

This card is fairly easy to create. A simple A5 card with a layer of card stock and Designer Paper. A ribbon tied in a bow around the two layers, then glued to the card base.

Some vellum was punched with the Starburst punch and the two stamped images onto white card and cut out with their coordinating dies.

But check out the tassel – you get 18 tassels in 3 coordinating colours in the pack for only $14. Great value and saves trying to make them yourself! I attached it to the parfum with some white baker’s twine. I also coloured the shoe with some Wink of Stella for some glitz (although it doesn’t photograph well).

Life is short, buy the shoes – well, what a great sentiment for many of my friends. They sure know how to shop for shoes!!!
