My projects tonight use the Floral Romance Suite. Card 1 uses the Wonderful Romance stamp set, Wonderful Floral Framelits dies and Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper.

The card base is Fresh Fig with a piece of the printed vellum adhered using Tombo Multipurpose Glue and lightly sponging it onto the back of the vellum so the glue doesn’t show through. Some Whisper White card was glued on the inside with a  2″ strip of the same printed vellum glued on the right hand side so it shows through the front of the card.

The main floral image was stamped with Versamark Ink onto Basic Black card. I applied White Embossing Powder and heat set it. I lightly coloured the entire image with my White Watercolour pencil first, then used my Stampin’ Blends Markers to colour over the top! I added some wink of Stella to the flowers. Some extra die cuts of the leaves in Pear Pizzazz and Mossy Meadow were cut and glued behind. A small basic pearl was added to the centres of the flowers. I tied a small piece of the Lemon Lime Twist Organdy Ribbon around the stems.

My next project uses the same suite, but with a totally different, softer look!

The Petal Pink card lightens it up and that gorgeous Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder adds so much interest. The leaves and flowers are fussy cut from the piece of printed vellum and glued behind or on top of the Whisper White oval with the sentiment.

The sentiment is stamped in Fresh Fig. I added one of the Floral Romance Wax Seals and some die cuts in Petal Pink for some contrast interest to the green leaves.

And my last project tonight is a gift purse with a belly band!

This uses an A5 piece of card, so you can make two purses from one sheet of A4 card, plus some off cuts you may have lying around.

The sides have the accordion fold so you can fit more cash inside!

Take off the Belly Band and look, it fits our Australian currency!!!
