AWH Blog Hop featuring new Annual Catalogue items!!

Blog Hop May 2019.jpg

Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative products using supplies from the upcoming 2019 – 2020 annual catalogue. If you would like a copy of the brand new annual catalogue, contact any of the girls on the blog hop and we will get in touch with you.

If you’re already hopping, then you just came to me from the talented, Kimberly Hern. If you’re just joining, great! Use the “next” button at the end of my post to hop all the way around. Blog Hops are full circles, so you can start hopping here and then at the end of each post there is a link to the next one. There is also a list of participants at the end in case of any broken links. Now let’s get started!

Tonight I am focusing on the Floral Essence Bundle: Floral Essence Stamp Set & Perennial Flower Punch. I am also using the coordinating Perennial Essence DSP, Perennial Essence 12″x 12″ Vellum & Perennial Essence Floral Centers.

Would you believe, the Leaf Punch also coordinates perfectly with this stamp set!!!

I got out 1 sheet of each design of the DSP and cut each one up into 6 equal pieces measuring 10cm x 14.3cm, so I could make the most of the stunning Monet inspired designs.

I made all of these cards to gift to my mum for Mother’s Day. She just loves receiving my cards to use for her own gifts.

This first card I used a base of Petal Pink and created the frame using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits. I adhered it using the Foam Adhesive Strips. I stamped the flower and leaves on the vellum and punched them out. A tip with stamping on the vellum: there is a smooth side and slightly rougher side. Make sure you stamp on the rough side for better results.

The flower I also used my stylus tip of the Take Your Pick Tool to create the white lines, resting it on the Pierce Mat.

Calypso Coral, Blackberry Bliss & Petal Pink feature in this one and those flowers were stamped and fussy cut.

This card uses Blueberry Bushel and I think it is my favourite of all of these. Pity I couldn’t find my Embossing Buddy before I stamped and embossed the sentiment 😦

Mossy Meadow and Crushed Curry features with a Versamark stamped sentiment which is heat embossed with White Emboss Powder.

Here are some of those flowers close up. How cute are those fluffy floral centers?!!!

You may think these cards are fairly simple, but I sure didn’t want to cover up that stunning DSP!

I have one more card using a few of the new 2019-2021 In Colours. Here I stamped off the larger solid flower in Seaside Spray, then stamped the smaller flower over the top in full strength with Rococo Rose for the centres. The leaves are stamped off in Pretty Peacock ink and then I used the Wink of Stella to colour them, lightly blending some of the ink colour. The 1/2″ scallop Line Ribbon in Rococo Rose was wrapped across the front. I folded some extra ribbon into a flower shape and added a Perennial Essence Center on top.

Cute Bunny heads down Daisy Lane

9bdc0-34343751_10157403755198098_7101250458500464640_o

Here we are with our 2nd last Art With Heart Team Colour Creations weekly Blog Hop. Tonight we are featuring our 49th colour; Soft Suede.

I have decided to pull out the new Daisy Lane stamp set which will be available to purchase from 4th June 2019. I also feature the Fable Friends stamp set, one of my favourites that is carrying over into the new catalogue, yippee!!

Daisy Lane Fable Friends Stampin Up Australia Kate Morgan 2019 Colour Creations Blog Hop...JPG

My background is soft suede with another layer of the same colour stamped with the fern image from Daisy Lane in coordinating ink. I also sponged the edges with a dauber and glued it to the base card with Tombo Multipurpose Glue.

The bunny image (Fable Friends) is stamped in soft suede on the same colour card and fussy cut with Snips. Check out the jacket, ears, eyes and nose which are all glittery, as I used my Wink of Stella for some glitz!

Daisy Lane Fable Friends Stampin Up Australia Kate Morgan 2019 Colour Creations Blog Hop.

On each side of the hands, I cut a small sit for the stem of the daisy to slide through. Doesn’t it look like he’s holding it?!!! He is adhered with Dimensionals.

The daisy is stamped with the new  2019-2021 In Colour, Rococo Rose ink on Rococo Rose card stock and cut using the Daisy Punch. I used my bone folder to gently curve the petals up before gluing it to the card and placing a Clear Faceted Gem to the centre.

Welcome back to another Art With Heart Team Colour Creations weekly Blog Hop. Today we are featuring our 48th colour; Soft Sea Foam. Wow, only a couple more weeks to go!

I’m using the Note cards & Envelopes for this card, with the lovely Wood Textures DSP which will be retiring shortly, so if you love it too, you need to get it now before it’s gone.

This stamp set from the Occasions catalogue, Let it Ride will be carrying over into the new Annual catalogue and it’s a beauty!

I glued the Wood Textures DSP to the front of the Note card and the flap of the envelope.

Let it Ride for Colour Creations Soft Sea Foam Blog Hop by Kate Morgan, Stampin Up Australia 2019..JPG

I started with a piece of 2.5″ x 3.5″ white card and stamped the images in Memento Black ink. I used a sponge dauber to add the sky (Balmy Blue) and the grass (Soft Sea Foam). The horse was coloured with Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Once it was all coloured, I rubbed all 4 edges along the Versamark inkpad and added Gold Emboss powder before heat setting it. If you follow my blog, you will notice I use this technique quite a bit, I just love the look!

I then mounted it onto some Soft Sea Foam card and glued it onto the note card. I stamped the trees on the back of the envelope and on the inside of the card.

Patchwork card using Around the Corner & Garden Impressions DSP by Kate Morgan Stampin Up Australia

I was inspired by a bag that my gorgeous Mother-in-law made for me recently. Isn’t is stunning?!!! I’m such a lucky girl.

Patchwork Bag for Craft with Kate.JPG

I have used the Around the Corner stamp set with the Garden Impressions DSP. It is just some simple squares and cutting to put it all together. The Night of Navy ink looks fab with So Saffron!

The background of the card base, I actually embossed with the Subtles Textured Impressions Embossing folder through the Big Shot.

On the inside I added some Whisper White card and cut a couple of squares of the DSP and then cut them in half again on the diagonal to glue into each corner.

I have gone with a Monotone card using this gorgeous Wonderful Romance stamp set and the coordinating Wonderful Floral Framelits (both products are retiring on 3 June unless sold out prior) so make sure you add them to your shopping cart now!

The card base is Smoky Slate with a layer of Whisper White with 1″ panels in the above colours.

Then I stamped the images in Stazon ink and used the AquaPainter to watercolour the images with ink refills. I also added Wink of Stella to the flowers and those tiny leaves. I love those black embossed die cut leaves behind for a dramatic effect!

Colour Creations: Shaded Spruce for a Tropical Chic Thank you!

9bdc0-34343751_10157403755198098_7101250458500464640_o

Welcome back to another Art With Heart Team Colour Creations weekly Blog Hop  featuring our 45th colour; Shaded Spruce. Wow, can you believe there are only 5 more colours to go?!

How cool is this tropical card using lots of the Tropical Escape DSP, some simple stamping and some embossing to add some shine!

That large leaf is stamped in Granny Apple Green ink and then I used a sponge dauber to add some extra tone with Shaded Spruce ink around the edges before stamping it onto some White card.

Tropical Chic for Colour Creations Blog Hop by Kate Morgan Australia 2019.JPG

How beautiful does that copper embossed flower look on the Petal Pink card stock? It looks even better in real life, as the card stock has similar tones! I have popped these stamped pieces up on dimensionals.

and because that copper embossed flower looked so good, I did another one for the inside with some more DSP!

I love that Braided Linen Thread which is super soft and very easy to tie in a knot.

On the inside of the card I added the simple sentiment, which is so true for why I have made this card. It’s going to be one of the many thank you cards I am needing to make at the moment to send to people who have been so generous in helping me regain my independence.

Colour Creations: Ooh, I love Rich Razzleberry!

9bdc0-34343751_10157403755198098_7101250458500464640_o

Tomorrow I fly out to New Zealand for the Stampin’ Up! OnStage Live Event in Auckland; a 3 day event full of fun and catching up with my other demonstrator friends, who are like family to me and I can’t wait!

But in the meantime, we still have a Colour Creations blog hop to share with you and tonight we are featuring our 43rd colour; Rich Razzleberry and it is one of my favourites.

I have used the stunning, Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Annual catalogue and coordinated it with the Tea Together stamp set.

Colour Creations Blog Hop Rich Razzleberry with Stampin Up Tea Together, Well Written, Watercolouring by Kate Morgan Australia Occasions 2019.

The tea cup and flower images were stamped lightly in Sahara Sand ink onto Whisper White card and then I coloured them using the Watercolour Pencils and a Blender Pen.

The four tiny Rich Razzleberry die cut flowers and the sentiment have Wink of Stella on them, can you see it? Then I placed a small Pearl into the centre of each flower. I also added some of the Velvet Ribbon behind the Tea Cup.

Colour Creations: Real Red Fancy Fold with Tea Together

9bdc0-34343751_10157403755198098_7101250458500464640_o

Welcome back to another Art With Heart Team Colour Creations weekly Blog Hop. Today we are featuring our 42nd colour; Real Red.

Today’s card was one of the projects at my recent craft class. The front of the card is stamped in Versamark ink multiple times, with Copper Emboss Powder added and heat set with the Heat Tool.

The square window is die cut and the Story Label Punch is used to cut the punched piece behind the sentiment from this scrap square piece of card stock. The Classic Label punch was used with Copper Foil and the sentiment is stamped on White card in Real Red ink and punched out with the circle punch.

Tea Together Mother's Day card for Colour Creations Blog Hop Stampin Up Occasions 2019 by Kate Morgan Australia.

When you open the card, the tea pot is glued to a square hinge that moves as though it’s pouring tea into the cup below! The teapot is stamped using the Mirror Image technique, by using the Stamparatus to stamp the image 3 times onto the Silicone mat, then placing some white card in carefully and stamping the image down again. Carefully remove the card, turn it over and you have the image reversed on the back! Now you can die cut it out using the coordinating framelits.

Here is another version in Night of Navy & White emboss!

I cased this idea from Cheryl Algie who did a video using a different stamp set Very Vintage.

Easter Blog Hop for the Art with Heart Team

Easter Blog Hop.jpg

Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects with an Easter theme. Don’t forget, Sale-a-bration ends on 31 March! There is still time to earn free product with purchase or even join our Stampin’ Up! team. Ask any of the girls on the hop for more details.

If you’re already hopping, then you just came to me from the talented, Sue Madex. If you’re just joining, great! Use the “next” button at the end of my post to hop all the way around. Blog Hops are full circles, so you can start hopping here and then at the end of each post there is a link to the next one. There is also a list of participants at the end in case of any broken links. Now let’s get started!

My Easter projects tonight have a heavy focus on the soon to retire In Colours 2017-2019.

Stampin’ Up! 2017-2019 In Colours

craftwithkate.com

I adore the Fable Friends stamp set and just had to use it for my Easter projects. This card is created using the paper piecing technique. This is where you stamp onto some pretty designer paper and then cut sections of it out and glue to another stamped image. You can see I’ve done it with the ducks jacket and top of her hat! I used the pretty Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper. I love the Rectangle stitched framelits and the Silver Glimmer edging was cut with the Decorative Border Punch. The sentiment is created using the Well Said stamp set and coordinating Well Written framelits (purchase these together as the bundle to save 10%).

Easter Blog Hop with Fable Friends Occasions 2019 by Kate Morgan Stampin Up, Australia..jpg

Here’s a closer look!  I used my Blender Pen with the inkpads to add some Gray Granite to her feathers, Pineapple Punch for her beak and feet and Powder Pink for the hat and ribbon around her neck. The grass is stamped with Lemon Lime Twist and then I sponged some of the same colour using a sponge dauber. I also did this for the sky with Balmy Blue ink.

Easter Blog Hop with Fable Friends, Paper Piecing, Occasions 2019 by Kate Morgan Stampin Up, Australia

My next project is a Divided Gift Box with 3 sections in it and a window in the top to entice you inside!  The tag was simply created using the Well Said bundle as used in the first project. I had to tie some of this gorgeous variegated ribbon around it too.

Divided Easter Treat Box by Kate Morgan Stampin Up Australia..JPG
