I made this card for a dear friend who was a work colleague for many years, but left a couple of years ago. It was her 60th birthday which also happened to fall on Father’s Day, so happy birthday Sarah!
Did you see the Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the front? It is from the new Holiday catalogue, but it looks fab on this non-Christmassy card. It will be one we can use on lots of different projects, thanks Stampin’ Up!
The lady is stamped in Petal Pink ink and her dress is coloured with the Wink of Stella Glitter pen and the hat was dipped in some Melon Mambo ink to pick up a bit of coordinating colour! The sentiment is stamped over the top afterwards in Melon Mambo ink so it didn’t smudge.
As you open this card, it reveals more of the Garden Impressions Designer Paper which coordinates so well with this elegant lady, don’t you think?!! I can see her at a wonderful garden party!
On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set. It is perfect for the fabulous Sarah.
