Really going to miss this little bunny…

Dear Crafters,

Today I share a card using mainly products that will be retiring on 31 May and will be selling fast over the coming weeks.

Here is one of my favourite colour combinations and two of these will be retiring 😦

I was a bit sad that this cute little bunny stamp set was retiring, but it is one that I will be hanging on to. It is so versatile, it is great for baby cards as well as Easter!

It may be easier to tell you what product isn’t retiring (not including tools, eg Big Shot): whisper white cardstock, classic label punch and the sahara sand, crumb cake & soft suede inks. That’s all, everything else is only available while stocks last!

I am really going to miss those Lots of Labels dies too, I use them loads 😦

I did use the Stamparatus to stamp the bunny as I made a few of these cards. It’s so much quicker to have the stamps lined up and then you just change the plates each time to stamp. More on that though once the Stamparatus is available on 1 June 🙂

The sponging around the edge of the die cut was done with Pink Pirouette and then a lighter layer of Rose Red just on the edges. Isn’t is pretty?!!!

Fancy Fold card with Lots of Labels

Hello Crafters,

Today I am featuring the Lots of Labels framelits to create this Fancy Fold card inspired by Dawn Griffith. I love to try different fancy folds and this one we did in my class on Saturday and the ladies loved it, although at first took fright wondering if it was going to be difficult to create!

I’m also using my favourite Designer Series paper, Delightful Daisy. #cutitnothoardit

I added a piece of ribbon to the left of the label die, which is an addition to the original creator. I just thought it helped show that is where to pull to open this style of card.

Gift Card Holder

Dear Crafters,

Gift Card Holder #stampinup

Today I share a couple of gift card holders (cased from Claire Daly) which are very simple to make.

You can create 3 of these from 1 x A4 sheet of cardstock by cutting it vertically at 7cm x 29.7cm!

I used the Lots of Labels Framelits to die cut the end of the card, then score it at 3-1/8″ and 7-3/4″.

Emboss the opposite end to the framelit cut end and adhere Stampin’ Up! Tear and Tape to create a pouch. (This tape can be cut vertically so you have a very thin strip, otherwise the gift card won’t fit in!)

Create a belly band that slips over to hold it shut and decorate however you like. I have used the 2-3/8″ Scallop circle punch and added some embellishments. The ice-cream is the Sprinkles of Life stamp set which can be found on the back page of the AC.

Elf time

Dear Crafters,

Today I share another card using that cute little elf from the stamp set, Christmas Cuties. This is one of my favourites in the new Holiday Catalogue and you will see plenty more in the months ahead using this stamp set!!!

My base is Mossy Meadow card stock with a layer of Real Red card stock.

The Merry Moments Designer Series Paper Stack is so cute with it’s polka dot pattern. The Home for Christmas Enamel Dots are adhesive backed, which make them super quick to add.

The image is stamped with the new black archival ink pad onto Whisper White card stock and coloured with Stampin’ Write Markers.

Christmas Cuties #stampinup

I used the Lots of Labels Framelits to die cut the image and another, one size larger to frame it. The amazing Triple Banner punch was used once again with the gold foil card layered behind the framelits. To finish off, I added some Gold Dazzling Details to the 4 bells and left to dry. Cute hey?!!!!

Did you notice I don’t have a sentiment? I actually didn’t think I needed one. This jolly little fellow screams Christmas to me!!!!

Holiday Catalogue is almost here!

Dear Crafters,

Today I share a Sneak Peek card using some of the brand new goodies from the Holiday Catalogue that goes live tomorrow!!!! Be sure to check back in the morning to view the catalogue online and write up your Christmas Wish List. There is sure to be plenty of products that you are going to love!

Anyway, here is my first card to share with you.

#stampinup Christmas Cuties

This stamp set is called Christmas Cuties, and this little angel was the very first one from the set that I had to ink up!

I used the brand new Black Archival ink which is also new in this catalogue. It can be used to stamp and then water colour the image and it doesn’t bleed. Wahoo, it’s amazingly awesome!

The next product is the Designer Series Paper stack that I have used for the banners. This pack is called Merry Moments DSPS.

I layered the DSP banners (made using the Triple Banner Punch) and then embossed the whole front of the card using the Elegant Dots TIEF before adding the glitter banner.

#stampinup Christmas Cuties

The Angel was die cut using the Lots of Labels Framelits and the next largest framelit for the Cherry Cobbler layer.

I coloured the image using the Aqua Painter and ink pads, before adding some Dazzling Diamonds to her wings and some Gold Metallic Thread behind.

You’ve Got This

Dear Crafters,

You've Got This #stampinup

Today I share a card I made using our Art with Heart Team Challenge!

Being stuck at home with this fractured ankle, what else am I to do, but spend my days crafting. So that is what I did!

I used the middle column as my starting point, seeing as my favourite colour is blue, I love flowers and embossing gives such an amazing texture to my cards.

I have used Pool Party and Island Indigo as my colours, along with some Whisper White.

You've Got This #stampinup

I stamped the image in Island Indigo and then used the ink and Aqua Painter to colour it. I fussy cut the image and mounted it onto two of the Lots of Labels Framelits, one embossed with the Elegant Dots TIEF.

Just Add Butterflies

Dear Crafters,

Today I enter a challenge at Just Add Ink. The challenge this week is to Just Add Butterflies, JAI#272.

Butterflies #Stampin'Up!

I began by embossing the black card with the Butterflies TIEF in the Big Shot. I die cut the two banners using the Lots of Labels Framelits.

I stamped the flowers (Awesomely Artistic stamp set) in Versamark ink, then added clear embossing powder and heat set. I used the Blender Pens with Wild Wasabi ink to colour them.

Colours used: Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi and Gold.

Butterflies #Stampin'Up!

The sentiment is from the Greetings Thinlits in gold glitter paper, as is the butterfly (Bold Butterfly Framelits).

Please leave a comment below, if you think my card met this sketch challenge.

Why don’t you give a challenge a go, they are so much fun. Head across to the Just Add Ink page for more inspiration and see how the designers interpreted this challenge.
