This Lovely You Bundle was also added to my shopping cart as soon as I was able to order it during our demonstrator pre-order period. I just love the smaller floral images, especially because they are perfect for creating the Stamp in the Round style of card (SITR).

By creating a template to use in your Stamparatus, you can stamp an image, rotate the cardstock 90^o and stamp again. Continue this process and you end up with a stunning design all in perfect position.

I used the retired wood grain papers on this card, but I have some of the new In Good Taste papers arriving very soon, which are out of this world, amazing! I cannot wait to share some projects with you using those new papers.

What inspires you?

That may sound like an odd question. But, stop and think about it.

Where do you get ideas from? What sparks the creative thoughts flowing? Have you been feeling in a slump lately?

With everything going on right now, I am sure that many are not feeling like their peppy selves or are maybe finding a hard time feeling “creative”.

Keep looking for that creative spark!

The good news is there is only 1 more sleep until the new 2020-2021 Annual catalogue goes live and you can look at all those gorgeous pages of amazing and inspirational photos of new projects!

What are you most looking forward to seeing? I cannot wait to get the new In Color Inkpads!!!!

Tonight’s card features the Ornate Garden Suite of products. I stamped the large image on black card with Versamark ink and heat set it with White Emboss Powder.

Then I coloured the entire image with the White Chalk Marker and let it dry before colouring with Stampin’ Blends Markers.

The Designer Paper is so colourful, I actually cut it about a third of the way down, flipped it over to reveal the other side and glued them to the card base. The white ribbon is wrapped around to cover the join! The image was then added with dimensionals.

Hello, Ornate Garden Suite

Tonight’s card was made for my mother in law to say Hello during this crazy time in isolation, using the new items from the upcoming Annual catalogue starting 3 June. However, these items are available now as an early release!

The sentiment is stamped with Versamark ink and white emboss powder added and heat set. This sentiment is from the Seriously The Best stamp set which is retiring, along with the Leaf Punch 😦

On the inside, I just placed the simple sentiment and a flower image in the corner, leaving plenty of room for my message.

TIP: The Whisper White Seam Binding ribbon was a little too much for this card, so I simply coloured it with my Stampin’ Blends Marker to colour it Old Olive to match the card base!

Farewell Beautiful Bouquet

I am very sad to be saying farewell to quite a few of the products in today’s card; the gorgeous Beautiful Bouquet Stamp set, the Best Dressed DSP and the In Color, Lovely Lipstick 😦

I have teamed these up with the Beauty Abounds stamp set, but this one is staying in the new catalogue.

I placed a piece of 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ white card stock in the Stamparatus and stamped in a circle using a template. You can find loads of video tutorials on this technique, Stamp in the Round on YouTube. The mat layers are Lovely Lipstick placed on a White card base.

Have you tried this technique? It is such a fun way to create a card and especially if you like to be precise with your layouts 😉

For the Lady Golfer

Most golfing cards that you see are usually of a masculine theme. Well tonight, I have made a feminine version for all those ladies out there!

My mum plays golf and she has made lots of friends through her golf club, so I’m sure they will appreciate this one.

The DSP layer is embossed with the Absolute Argyle embossing folder for extra texture. The image is actually one of sheets of DSP. It has multiple line images which can be coloured and I love that they include a lady image.

The wooden elements are a lovely touch and I stamped it with the Stazon Black ink so it doesn’t bleed into the wood.

On the inside, simply stamp a sentiment and add a strip of DSP.

Feminine A-line dress card

Tonight’s card uses the gorgeous Dressed to Impress Bundle. As you know, I love this suite of products with some of my favourite colours in the DSP.

I used the bag die and only cut out a portion of it with some of this stunning DSP to create an A-line dress with a string of pearls!

My base is Blackberry Bliss card, also with a layer of the same card embossed with the Scripty 3D embossing folder. I wiped the edges along the Versamark Inkpad, added Gold Emboss Powder and heat set it. The dress is glued to the card and a string of pearls added. The sentiment is also gold embossed.

The lipstick was inked with Blackberry Bliss onto Whisper White card, die cut and coloured with Blends and the tip of the lipstick, using the Wink of Stella in the inkpad. The shoe is stamped on Flirty Flamingo card and I just used Wink of Stella to add some glimmer.

On the inside I simply stamped a shoe, then masked it and stamped the second shoe above so it appears to be behind!

Best Dressed Arrow Fold Card

This Best Dressed Suite is so pretty and the Designer Paper is absolutely stunning. I love all the colours in it and today I have created an arrow fold card. I searched the internet for many different types of fancy fold cards and came up with this one. I couldn’t find one with instructions for Australian measurements, but it was pretty easy to work out!

Colours: Purple Posy, Petal Pink, Mossy Meadow & Old Olive

Aren’t these new Stitched So Sweetly dies gorgeous? I just love the stitching and the different shapes in the one set for beautiful layering. They were one of the first items into my shopping bag!

On the inside, I used the extra pieces of the DSP and some white card for adding a sentiment when required.

Beautiful Moments in Grace’s Garden

I just adore this bundle of Grace’s Garden. Maybe it is because it’s my daughters name, but also I love cottage gardens full of flowers! I also wanted to use the Beautiful Moments stamp set, as it has the image of two little girls holding hands, another reminder of my own two girls ♥

The image of the two little girls with the sand buckets was used in my card, however I didn’t need them carrying buckets into the garden. I just wanted them holding hands, so I coloured the lines of the image I wanted with my Black Stampin’ Write Marker, gave it a huff of hot air before stamping it onto some white card. Then I fussy cut the image before colouring it.

For the path under the rose arbour, I used the Tasteful Textures stamp set with Crumb Cake ink. I also sponged it a little to blend the colour better.
