Today’s card uses the stamp set, With You in Mind along with the Toadstool Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP), one of the FREE products you can select with a qualifying order during Saleabration 2025.

This reverse sides of this DSP is so bold and vibrant with it’s amazing patterns. I have cut 9 rectangles measuring 4.5cm x 3cm and adhered them onto the card base. The two pieces in the centre have some ribbon adhered behind them and across the front. A Everyday Arches dies in Basic White has the sentiment stamped in Fresh Freesia ink. The two Melon Mambo hearts were stamped on Basic White, fussy cut and adhered to the arch. A ribbon bow is adhered with a Glue Dot and Tinsel Gems 3-Pack finished it nicely.

On the inside a simple stamped heart on Basic White and matted with more DSP.

Mixed Florals Lots of Love card

Again I feature the Mixed Florals bundle with another of the images in the set.

A Thick Basic White card base with Gold Foil diecut using the Stitched Rectangle dies. The Everyday Arches dies is the next layer with the stamped image popped up on top on Dimensionals.

The images are stamped in Versamark ink, Gold Emboss Powder added and melted with my Heat Tool. I used my Blends Combo Markers to colour the image; Boho Blue, Soft Sea Foam, Summer Splash, Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath and Fresh Freesia.

The sentiment [Hearts of Elegance] is first stamped in Versamark ink then directly into Fresh Freesia ink and stamped onto Basic White cardstock. Clear Embossing Powder is added and melted with my Heat Tool before fussy cutting with Paper Snips. I added a Unbounded Love die cut piece behind it in Fresh Freesia. Some Twisted Gold Thread is tied in a bow and sits on a Glue Dot behind the sentiment. Wink of Stella is added to the two flower centres and petals, although this is hard to photograph.

On the inside and on the envelope, I added a simple stamped Fresh Freesia image which you can see in the first photograph above.

Moody Mauve: Mixed Florals Just for You card

Today I feature the Mixed Florals bundle.

A Thick Basic White card base with a strip of the Wild Flowering DSP and a thinner strip of Gold Foil are placed to the left. The Everyday Arches dies (yes, my favourite) is dry embossed with the Starburst Embossing Folder, one of the Saleabration rewards with a qualifying order.

The image is stamped in Versamark ink, Gold Emboss Powder added and melted with my Heat Tool. I used my Water Painters to colour the image; Boho Blue, Summer Splash, Moody Mauve and Blackberry Bliss. I popped this up on Dimensionals.

The sentiment [Labeled with Love] is stamped in Moody Mauve on Basic White cardstock and I flagged one end with Paper Snips. I added some Purple Adhesive-backed Sequins (Saleabration free product), In Color™ Shimmer Gems and Twisted Gold Thread.

On the inside and on the envelope, I added a simple stamped Moody Mauve image.

Storybook Friends and Storybook Moments DSP

The Storybook Moments Collection caught my eye immediately when browsing through the new 2025 Jan-Apr Mini catalogue. It has all my favourite Beatrix Potter inspired characters, including Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddleduck, etc. These images are pop out diecuts which are part of the DSP pack! Here’s what is included in this collection:

This cute little mouse sits on a Bubble Bath frame [Storybook Friends dies] with some text stamped it in Basic Beige ink using the Elements of Text stamp set. The Perennial Postage dies cut out the white layer which sits on a Bubble Bath matt. The flowers and leaves are from the Country Flowers dies.

This one features Lost Lagoon and these flowers are from the Country Birdhouse dies.

Hearts of Elegance Half Hexagonal card

Today I feature a fun fold card, but do not be dismissive thinking it is too difficult as it is really easy to recreate. Read on and I’ll explain more about it. You will be surprised!

The Hearts of Elegance bundle and the Marbled Elegance Specialty DSP are available in the Online Exclusives section of the online store. This could suit any occasion; Birthday, Wedding Day, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc.

and it folds flat like this to fit into an envelope for posting!

Step by step details
Card base: 11cm x 14.5cm, score the long edge @ 2cm from each end and fold them to the front (valley folds). Decorate the inside with the following.
DSP (inside): 10.5cm x 2cm and 2 pieces 10.5cm x 1.5cm

Cardstock strips x 2: 18.5cm x 3cm, score @ 2cm & 6.5cm from each end. Fold and burnish all scorelines as mountain folds. Add adhesive of choice to the end tabs and adhere them to the outisde of the two side folds of the cardbase, lining them up along the top of the card. Repeat with the second strip along the base. The card base will fold flat to fit into an envelope for postage. Use the following DSP measurements to decorate.
DSP (decorate the strips): 13cm x 2.5cm, cut so you have 4cm piece, 5cm, 4cm (to keep the continuous pattern) you need two lots of these.

White card: 10.5cm x 10cm (adhere to the back for your message).
Extra: DSP and cardstock to cut your heart features and the sentiment!

Week 34 – Melon Mambo

Today I feature a fun fold portrait spanner card. It is simply a portrait folding card and the two sides of the card front are cut at 1.5cm to the centre scoreline. Once decorated, add the sentiment that adheres across the cardfront, but only glued to the two side strips creating the spanner. Scroll on to see how it opens!

I have used the Online Exclusives bundle, Cake Celebrations with the Marbled Elegance Specialty DSP because it is so gorgeous!

To create the cake, I die cut the larger cake piece in Basic White and used the largest Water Painter to pick up some ink from the lid of my Melon Mambo ink pad, creating that brushed look of icing on a cake. The frosting was also die cut from Basic White crd and adhered to the top of the cake, but then I added a thick layer of White Pearlised Enamel Effects and how good does it look?!!! The banner and the cake stand are die cut in Gold Foil for more glamour! These sit on a Basic White circle from the Stylish Shapes dies.

When you open the top layer, you can see how the sentiment is adhered holding the front together.

Week 28 – Granny Apple Green

Today I feature a fun fold card using very earthy tones this week. I find Granny Apple Green a very bright tone, so I used it by adding ink blending around the outer edges of the Country Woods designer paper layer. The Country Birdhouse stamps and coordinating dies were used to stamp the birdhouse, and two birds in Black Memento ink and I die cut the elements to embellish the card. The base was dry embossed with my favourite Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder.

The sentiment and die cut piece is from the Unbounded Love bundle.

The birdhouse is coloured with Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers; Pecan Pie and the Natural Tones Collection of Deep Combo (SU100), Medium Combo (SU500), Medium Light (SU700) & Light Combo (SU900).

The birds and leaves are also coloured with Blends Markers; Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green & Soft Sea Foam. The perch and the bow are cut from Early Espresso cardstock. The perch is glued into the centre of the base and the bird attached with a glue dot.

Week 27 – Gorgeous Grape

Today I feature the Painted Lavender stamp set and coordinating dies with the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper (DSP) in a fun fold design.

Colour Combination - Gorgeous Grape

The front feature is stamped in second generation ink, meaning I stamped off on scrap paper before applying to the card. I also stamped this same image in full strength onto Basic White card and die cut it to add over the top on Dimensionals. The greenery is die cut in white and Pretty Peacock ink applied with a blending brush. Gorgeous Grape ink is also applied around all edges of the white layer. The lavender and butterflies have Wink of Stella on them for some sparkle.

As you open the centre panel, it reveals two beautiful Gorgeous Grape doors, dry embossed with one of the Fun Patterns Embossing Folders.

Then continue to open to find a stamped panel, with some more images from the stamp set. These are coloured with Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape and Pretty Peacock, but wait, there is more. Open that panel up to reveal your message and some more gorgeous stamped images!

Week 26 – Garden Green

Today I feature the To Market Designer Paper in this fun layout, using Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie and Basic White.

How did I make it?

Begin with a sheet of Garden Green cardstock cut to 29.7cm x 10.5cm, score @ 14.8cm to create a top folding portrait orientation standard sized card.
Cut a piece of DSP 10cm x 14.2cm and cut in half down the centre. Flip one piece over the reveal the reverse pattern and glue them side by side to the card base.
Cut another piece of DSP 7.5cm x 10.5cm and a matt layer of Garden Green card 8cm x 11cm and glue them together.
Wrap some green Natural Tones Linen Thread around the right side three times and tie in a bow. Adhere this to the centre of the card on Dimensionals.
Die cut a different floral pattern from the same DSP pack using a circle from the Spotlight on Nature dies and glue this to the previous layer, overhanging it slightly on the left.
Diecut the Basic White banner [Stylish Shapes dies] and stamp the sentiment [Simply Said] in Garden Green ink.
Cut a piece of the green Festive Glimmer Paper 1cm x 7cm and adhere to the back of the banner with Glue Dots.
Cut a Golden Woven Leaves in half and add to the back of the banner with Glue Dots on the lower left 7 upper right. Adhere this to the lower part of the circle on Dimensionals.
Die cut three flowers [Country Birdhouse dies] in Pumpkin Pie cardstock and add with Glue Dots to the card.
Finish off by adding some Brushed Brass Butterfly Embellishments and Adhesive-backed Sparkle Gems to the centre of each flower.
On the inside a Basic White insert 10.5cm x 7.3cm with a strip of the floral DSP to carry over the design!

TIP: I cut a sheet of A4 cardstock down the centre at 10.5cm, then cut each of these into 7.4cm pieces, so I can get 8 inserts from one sheet of cardstock!

Crumb Cake: Labeled with Love

Week 20 – Crumb Cake

Today I feature the Labeled with Love stamp set in this soft feminine thank you card. I’ve been asked to make some thank you cards for teachers for the end of Year 12 for my eldest daughter.

A Thick Basic White card base with a layer of the pretty dry embossed background (Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder) which I splattered with my dark Crumb Cake Blends Marker (this photo is a little yellowish and looks more like Very Vanilla, but it is infact Basic White).

A fellow SU Demonstrator, Melody Hyde, shared her idea of stamping the label image to create this medallion effect, by stamping once, rotating 90º, stamping again and repeating. I did this in Black Memento ink and then lightly coloured each section carefully with ink and a Water Painter. This was then die cut using a circle from the Stylish Shapes dies.

The flowers were stamped in Bubble Bath and the leaves in in Crumb Cake. This is fussy cut with Paper Snips and added to the medallion on dimensionals. Some smaller leaves from the Fluffiest Friends dies were cut in Crumb Cake cardstock and glued behind for extra interest.

The sentiment is stamped in Crumb Cake ink onto a white diecut from the Unbounded Love dies. Some Iridescent Pearls were coloured with Bubble Bath Blends Marker and added to the centre of each flower. A Linen Thread bow is added on a Glue Dot.
