Blended Peony on Just Jade

Here I am back again with another card using the Prized Peony bundle and another 60th birthday card!

This time I have stamped the large image and coloured it with Blends Combo Markers; Magenta Madness, Petal Pink and Just Jade.

Look at that incredible embossed Just Jade layer, using the Greenery Textured Embossing Folder. The Vanilla layer is also embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder for a more subtle look. I love the addition of the lace trim, giving it a lovely feminine touch, to tie in the background layer.

Wonderful Magenta Madness with a White Peony

Oh my, this Prized Peony Stamp set and coordinating dies are amazing!

When I opened the pack of dies, I thought “how on earth do these work” as I was so overwhelmed with the amount of dies in there.

But once you know how they go together, it’s easy right?!!! And yes, it is really easy to put the flower together. It is 4 dies to create the bloom, each one sliding into the other from smallest to largest, then the stamen last. I have kept this one white as my first attempt, but it really is glorious just like that.

I stamped one of the images in Magenta Madness ink onto the same colour card base. The vellum layer is die cut and added with a couple of strips of Designer Paper over the top before adding the bloom on dimensionals. This made it easy to add some green leaves underneath where you want them.

Both sentiments are from the Peaceful Moments stamp set, stamped in Magenta Madness ink. The 60 is die cut from the retired Little Numbers dies, but there are some new ones in the annual catalogue, which I don’t have just yet.

Just Jade Birthday

Just Jade, one of the 5 new In Colors, is so pretty and I can see that I will be using it lots over the coming months. It is a true green and will go with almost every other colour in the Stampin’ Up! collection. Here is how it compares to the other greens:

I ordered the new In Color Designer Paper pack and thought I would show you all the different patterns available in the one pack of paper. I have cut 4 strips and adhered them to a layer of white card.

Just Jade

I took a length of ribbon, tied a bow in the centre of it and then wrapped the ends around the card and glued them behind. This layer was then glued to the Just Jade card base, then decorated with the die cut word sentiments, sprig punches and a stamped fussy cut bird. This image is coloured with Blends Markers and popped up on dimensionals.

This Lovely You Bundle was also added to my shopping cart as soon as I was able to order it during our demonstrator pre-order period. I just love the smaller floral images, especially because they are perfect for creating the Stamp in the Round style of card (SITR).

By creating a template to use in your Stamparatus, you can stamp an image, rotate the cardstock 90^o and stamp again. Continue this process and you end up with a stunning design all in perfect position.

Tonight’s Stampin’ Up! colour to showcase is Basic Gray!

The Beautiful World Bundle is just the perfect product for Masculine cards, or even using with your travel photos in a memory album.

The Basic Gray card base (10.5 x 29.7cm) is folded in half, then I glued some die cut globes in the same cardstock as my feature background. The Very Vanilla layer (6 x 10cm) is stamped with the globe then glued to the Basic Gray layer (6.5 x 10.5cm) and run through the embossing machine with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Now you can add the Silver stand.

The sentiment is from the Timeless Tulips stamp set and these pieces are cut using the new Lovely Labels Pick a Punch and added with dimensionals.

Tonight’s card is a bright and fun birthday card, exactly what they need to be!

Are you sick of seeing my Stamp in the Round cards? Sorry, but I am just loving them at the moment. I think I am hooked, hehe.

I stamped the background with the stars image from the Family Party stamp set, before adding some Birthday Bonanza DSP and then the stamped layer.
