Week 16 – Flirty Flamingo

This is such a pretty colour combination for tonight’s card using the Forever Fern Bundle in a wreath style card.

The leaf images are stamped 6 times in each colour on whisper white card and die cut. I arranged them in a wreath and popped them up on dimenionals for some added height. The sentiment is stamped and die cut and has a double layer of dimensionals under it, so it sits up higher than the wreath.

The white layer the wreath sits on, is embossed with the Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder for some added interest.

On the inside, I placed two extra stamped/die cut leaf images in each colour and a small strip of DSP that was left over from another project.

Measurements:

Whisper White card base: 12.5cm x 25cm, folded in half
Flirty Flamingo: 10.5cm x 10.5cm
Gorgeous Grape: 9.4cm x 9.4cm
Whisper White: 9cm x 9cm

Colour Creations Showcase – Blushing Bride

Tonight’s Stampin’ Up! colour is Blushing Bride!

Oh how I love this Arrange a Wreath Bundle 🤍 and especially with this colour combination of Blushing Bride, Magenta Madness and Whisper White.

White card base: 12.5cm x 25cm, scored at 12.5cm
Blushing Bride Layer: 11.5cm x 11.5cm, embossed with the Greenery Embossing folder

Arrange a Wreath Feminine Handmade Birthday Card by Kate Morgan, Stampin Up Australia 2020

The 3 x wreaths are die cut in each of the coloured cardstock. The Magenta Madness and White wreaths are glued together and the Blushing Bride wreath is added on top with mini dimensionals. Add some Wink of Stella to the Blushing Bridge wreath.

Stamp 8 x hearts in Magenta Madness ink and die cut them out. These are added with mini dimensionals and a ribbon bow added with Multipurpose glue.

The sentiment is stamped onto white card and cut using the Everyday Label Punch and added to the centre with dimensionals. Are you wondering why the punched piece doesn’t look like the punch shape? Well, I needed a smaller shape but I liked the shape of the side of this punch, so when placing the sentiment into the punch, I punched it closer to the top of the sentiment, then turned it around and put it back into the punch from the inside and slid it in until I was happy with the position and punch!!! Tada!!!

Breathtaking Bouquet with Pigment Sprinkle water colours!

Have you ever tried water colouring with the Pigment Sprinkles? No, well check out these vibrantly coloured cards!

I placed a tiny amount of pigment sprinkles onto a clear block and used my AquaPainter to add water and start colouring. You can also mix the colours to get a huge variety of colour.

The sentiment is stamped with Versamark on Black and Gold Embossed (heat set) before fussy cutting.

This one has been done the same way, but swapping the flower colours, changes it up so much, along with a different card base.

The sentiment is created exactly the same as the previous card.

Farewell Country Club

I am very sad to be saying farewell to this amazing bundle of products; Country Club suite, and the end of the month. Having parents who are keen golfers, this has been a wonderful addition to my crafting stash!

SITR Country Club Suite 2020 Mini by Kate Morgan, Stampin Up Australia

The centre layer is a piece of 4″ x 4″ white card stock placed in the Stamparatus and stamped in a circle using a template that I made. You can find loads of video tutorials on this technique, Stamp in the Round on YouTube. The mat layer is Terracotta Tile card on the DSP and all layered onto a Garden Green card base.

Have you tried this technique? I adore it!
