Each Monday evening until mid-December, I am taking part in the Heart of Christmas blog hop showcasing our amazing range of holiday products from the Annual and July-December Mini catalogues. Please hop along and enjoy some fabulous inspiration from our talented team!

Tonight I am using this cute Sweet Stockings Designer Papers. These papers do all the work for you, in making some quick and super easy cards this Christmas.

Along with the sentiment stamp set, Christmas to Remember, heat embossed in Gold Emboss Powder on the Label Me Lovely punch. Two small strips of Cherry Cobbler & Gold Metallic ribbon was added to the card, before the label was added with dimensionals.

The Pampered Pets stamp set is used on the inside in Soft Suede ink and a sentiment from the Peaceful Deer stamp set.

The next card is the same, however the placement of the sentiment is in a different position, so as not to cover up all the gorgeous kitty images.

Tonight I have got my inspiration from one of my team members, Amie McIroy, Eager to Stamp who lives in Western Australia.

I just adore this Specialty paper; the colours and the extra sparkle!

My card base is Mint Macaron with a layer of the DSP. A strip of card was cut to size and some White Glittered Organdy Ribbon wrapped across and secured behind, before it was glued to the card. The Label Me Lovely punch was used to punch out the Mint Macaron and Blushing Bride card. The pink layer I cut in half horizontally and glued behind the green punch to create the border. Then I ran it through my embossing machine in the Evergreen Forest 3D TIEF and added it to my card on dimensionals. The deer is punched from the Silver Foil and added with dimensionals also.

The holly (Whimsical Trees Bundle) is stamped, die cut and coloured with Stampin’ Write Markers.

Decorate the inside of your card, leaving room to write your message.

HOC Week 8 – Whimsy and Wonder Christmas

Tonight I have made cards using the Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper. This is just stunning with the holographic accents and the non-traditional colours for Christmas.

These colours really appeal to me and I couldn’t wait to add them to my order.

Using the Stitched So Sweetly dies with Misty Moonlight card, I die cut the background label, then added a piece of Blushing Bride Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon with some Stampin’ Seal, then one of the Wonderful Snowflakes on a dimensional, then a stamped Mint Macaron tree.

The sentiment on the inside is from the Christmas to Remember stamp set.

Card 2 – For this card, I covered the front of the card with Stampin’ Seal around the edges and a big X through the centre, before I cut 5/8″ x 6″ strips of the patterned paper. I added them from the top of the card and worked my way down using the extra length on either side to help place them and line them up perfectly. Don’t worry that they overhang, as once all the strips are adhered, cut off the excess using the Trimmer or Paper Snips. This is a great way to show all the patterns in a pack of Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper!

The trees are die cut in Basic White, Mossy Meadow & Mint Macaron. The stars are Blushing Bride and the tinsel is some of the new 12″x12″ Silver Foil. This comes in 3 shades snd this is the middle one, that has a slightly pinkish/purple shade to it.

A Whimsy Christmas

Today’s card uses the Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper. I just love the holographic accents and the non-traditional colour scheme for Christmas.

I have used a Thick White card base, then cut a piece of DSP the same size as the card front. I cut approx. 2″ off one end and flipped it over, then adhered them to the card. This is a very easy way of showcasing both sides of these gorgeous patterned papers!

I added one of the Wonderful Snowflakes, but I still wasn’t happy with the join of the patterned papers, so I cut the edge of the sheet surrounding the Wonderful Snowflakes and used that – waste nothing when it is so pretty!

The sentiment and pink tree are stamped in Versamark ink, Silver Emboss Powder added and heat set with the Heat Tool. The two small thin trees are die cut from Silver Foil and the trees either side are die cut from the Designer Paper and the present is fussy cut from the papers!

The sentiment is die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies and added with Dimensionals over a piece of the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon.

HOC Week 7 – Pinwheel Tower card

Tonight’s card is a Fancy Fold card called the Pinwheel Tower card. These have been popular lately and I thought it was about time to give it a go! You will find many tutorials online for this style of card.

The card bases are Evening Evergreen, but the centre is actually made from a piece of the Evening Evergreen sheet from the 2021-2023 InColor 6″ x 6″ DSP pack.

The Penguin Playmates 12″ x 12″ DSP is one of the items you can choose with any $90+AUD order during Sale•a•bration! It coordinates perfectly with the Penguin Place Bundle which I have also used on this card.

This view has DSP on both sides, some white card added for the snow and the penguin is stamped in Memento Black, Calypso Coral & Fresh Fressia inks. The penguin is cut with the Penguin Builder Punch and the scarf is fussy cut with Paper Snips.

The next view is just DSP panels and the sentiment stamped in Fresh Freesia ink on a piece of scrap Basic White card and snipped apart, before gluing with Multipurpose Glue.

This is the back with a large panel of DSP, and the small panel is Basic White card to write your Christmas message. The tree is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink and the gifts in Pool Party and Calypso Coral inks and fussy cut.

As you can see, this card folds flat to fit into our C6 envelopes (this one is from the Gingerbread & Peppermint suite).

DSP coloumn: 4¼” x 4½”, scored at 1″, 2″, 3″, 4″

DSP: 2½” x 4″ (4 pieces)and 1½” x 4″ (3 pieces)
Cardstock: 1½” x 4″ for sentiment panel

CCBH Cherry Cobbler – Christmas Deer Pocket Card

Week 10 – Cherry Cobbler

Tonight I have a pocket card that you can add some money or a gift card inside along with your Christmas message. If you are like my kids, they want nothing more than this type of gift for every occasion!

The Peaceful Deer Bundle (#156391) is fantastic value at only $62 for the Peaceful Deer photopolymer stamp set (#156891) and the Deer Builder Punch (#156390). It is going to get lots of use for my Christmas projects this year.

The Peaceful Prints DSP is one of the Sale·a·bration items that can be selected free with any $90+ order between 3 Aug – 30 Sept. The best part is that it coordinates with the Peaceful Deer Bundle. In fact, the deer image is punched with the Deer Builder Punch from the patterned paper!

The only stamping is the sentiments and the images on the white card insert in Cherry Cobbler & Sahara Sand to coordinate with the papers.

Basic Instructions

Cherry Cobbler Cardstock = 8¼” x 5¾”, score landscape at 2½” & 6½”
Fold the short end up and add a little multipurpose glue on each end and seal to create the pocket
Peaceful Prints DSP (front) – 5½” x 1½” and 5½” x 4½”
Basic White Insert – 3¾” x 4½”
Sahara Sand cardstock – 3″ x 3″

It’s almost time that the 2021 July-August Mini catalogue is available to purchase from tomorrow, 3rd August 2021, and tonight I have another sneak peek of some new product and free Sale•a•bration items.

The Penguin Place Bundle (#156789) is under $55AUD and has the stamp set and coordinating punch as part of the bundle.

The Penguin Playmates 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (#158420) is one of the items you can select from the Sale•a•bration brochure with any $90+AUD order.

It was one of the first items I selected and with the coordinating Penguin Builder Punch (#156452), you can punch out these little fellas from the paper without having a stamp set – although I did use the Penguin Place (#156410) stamp set for the sentiment! I have also used the Picture This Dies (#155559) which cuts out all these circles in one pass through my dfie cutting machine, for the penguins to peek through! The fox & rabbit were cut from the DSP with the Picture This Dies so they were the same size, but popped up on dimensionals. Behind each penguin head, I placed a dimensional for added depth.

On the inside, I have decorated it with the cute polar bear. See how he is half off the card, well he was fussy cut from the edge of the DSP. Just because he wasn’t a full image, don’t throw them out, you can still use them! Some Basic Rhinestone Jewels were added for some sparkle to finish off.

HOC Week 3 – Sneak Peek to the coolest friend ever, Penguins!

Tonight I share another sneak peek of some new products, the Penguin Place bundle ($54.75AUD). This is a punch bundle and it is adorable. I’m not normally into the cutesy type sets, but this one is cute and can also be used for birthdays with a balloon and bithday sentiments included, so a win-win. In the Sale•a•bration brochure, you can also earn a full pack of 12″ x 12″ Pengiun Playmates DSP that coordinates with this bundle for any order over $90+!

The snow hills are stamped in Balmy Blue ink onto the new Snowy White Velvet Sheets ($8.75AUD) and then I used Paper Snips to cut along the edge. The Stitched So Sweetly dies cut out the sentiment. The Penguins were stamped in Black Memento ink using the Stamparatus to ensure I got a nice dark tone by stamping twice. I penguin on the front is fussy cut, but the one on the inside is cut using the Penguin Builder punch! The feet and beak are stamped in Calypso Coral ink and the hat and scarf in Polished Pink ink (fussy cut).

Card 2 – This card predominantly uses the upcoming Sale•a•bration item, Penguin Playmates 12″x12″ DSP, that can be selected for FREE with any $90+ order from 4 August 2021!

The background panels, cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and the three cute images are all cut from the DSP! The sentiment is the same one as on the above card, but this time I cut it into three separate sections to glue to each of the three panels.

The Balmy Blue Gems added an extra touch of glimmer and I thought went really well with this colour combination. The White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon is tied in a bow and added with a glue dot.

Pampered Pets for Christmas, yay or nay?

The Playful Pets Suite is the perfect product for a card for my dear friend who has her own dog walking business. I had to put a little doggy on her Christmas card!

A card base of Whisper White, stamped with Real Red ink. The ‘Merry Christmas’ is from the Cherish the Season stamp set and the rest is from the Pampered Pets stamp set.

The Stitched Stars dies are used to cut some Vellum which is sits behind the focal image.

The Playful Pets Designer Series Paper is so cute and the Pets Dies cut out the images from the paper. Yes, this dog is cut directly from the paper!

Mini Dimensionals help pop up the dog die cut.

Early Release Quite Curvy Bundle for Christmas

Curvy Classic Christmas by Kate Morgan, Stampin Up Australia 2020

The Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ Patterned Paper has some stunning designs, including this pretty one with the sprigs. The Curvy dies has this stunning curved border – one side has the small holes and the other plain. You can use the offcut on another card (see below)!

A card base of Shaded Spruce with a Cherry Cobbler punched 2-1/4″ circle. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set, stamped in Shaded Spruce ink, a must have in your craft stash! This is stamped onto Whisper White card and cut out with the Tailed Tag punch.

The sprigs are cut using the Curvy dies, part of the Quite Curvy Bundle. The little bird is stamped in Sahara Sand ink and some Blushing Bride ink added with a Blender Pen. Mini Dimensionals help pop up some of the elements.

This next card looks almost identical, but I have used the ‘other side’ of the curvy die offcut and placed the bird in a slightly different position. Did you notice that?!!!
