I know, I can’t believe it either and I haven’t even made a start on my Christmas cards yet.
So, to get started, I thought I would try a few quick and easy gift tags ready to add to all the gifts I am yet to think about purchasing!!!
Mosaic Madness Christmas Gift Tags
Here I have used the Mosaic Madness Stamp Set. I stamped the same stamp 3 times using Raspberry Ripple Ink on White cardstock. I punched each one out with the coordinating mosaic punch, then scored each one down the centre. I glued them together to create the 3D ornament shape with Tombo Glue before adhering to the tiny cards.
The base of the card is 5cm x 10cm, scored in the middle to create a 5x5cm card, The Raspberry Ripple cardstock is a 4x4cm square.
I added a little ribbon bow to finish it off!
Mosaic Madness Stamps and Coordinating Punch can be purchased as a bundle saving you 15%.
I can see you all wanting to get your hands on one of these and make your Christmas Crackers in coordinating colours for your Christmas tables!!!
I am holding my next class on 8 November 2013 where you can make 2 Christmas Cards and I can show you how easy it is to make one of these Crackers. Be sure to book in for 8 November from 10.00am – 12.00pm by emailing me cardsbykate@live.com.au
I would like to thank everyone for their support for me as I attended the Stitches & Craft Show at Caulfield Racecourse.
The show was held daily from Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th October between 10am – 4.30pm.
I was on the Stampin’ Up! stand on Friday 25th October and I had a ball.
I met so many lovely crafters who came to watch our demonstrations and see our beautiful displays.
We certainly hope we have given each and every one of you some inspiration!

We even had loads of Festive Flurry ornaments dangling from the rooftop!
Here is what I demonstrated on the day.
It was sponging and masking!
I think many people who stopped by to watch my demonstration of this technique, were surprised at how quick and simple it was, but also just how effective it was once complete! The image used was the Lovely as a Tree stamp set.

Don’t forget tomorrow, Friday 25th October, if you don’t have any plans, come along and say hi to me at the Stitches and Craft Show at Caulfield Racecourse between 10am – 4pm. I will be on the Stampin’ Up! stand #177 on the ground floor!!!!
How about making your own decorations to put on the tree this Christmas.
Here I have used the Festive Flurry Framelits and there is no stamping, yes you heard right, for a change I have not used any stamps!!!
I used two different embossing folders, Northern Flurry & Polka Dots to emboss the Pool Party and Very Vanilla Flurry’s. I scored each flurry down the middle and glued them together with tombo glue. I did 3 at a time, 1 of each of the colours. When I was ready to glue the 2 bundles together, I first glued the ribbon to the centre!
