Now let’s get into showing you what you can make with the great new products in the Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogues.

You have come to my blog from the very talented, Judy May.

For my projects, I have used the Carousel Birthday Stamp Set, Cupcakes & Carousels Designer Series Paper and the Any Occasion stamp set (FREE Sale-a-bration item).

Are you wondering what is in that box? Well, read on to find out!

This 4″ x 4″ card uses the gorgeous Cupcakes & Carousels Designer Series paper stack and the coordinating Carousel Birthday Stamp set. The card base is Calypso Coral with a piece of the DSP. I’ve used the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies for the oval. The Bermuda Bay Stitched satin ribbon goes so well with this DSP pack.

The horse was stamped on Very Vanilla card and fussy cut. It’s coloured with the new Watercolour Pencils and mounted to the oval with Dimensionals.

Now for the Box! This was a trial and error project, to come up with the correct size for gift inside! Instructions for this will be listed below.

I stamped the images onto White Tissue Paper and coloured it with the Watercolour Pencils, then added it to the candle using my heat gun and some baking paper. I was surprised at how well it transferred!!!

And here is the little tag I made for the front of the box, using the oval die cut from the window section of the gift box! I also used the same Any Occasion stamp set for this sentiment.

Here’s how I made the box:
I started with a piece of card measuring 9-1/8″ x 8-1/4″.
Score on long edge at 2″ & 7-1/8″, rotate 90 degrees and score at 2″, 4″, 6″ & 8″.
Cut away sections below.

Place it in the Big Shot with the Stitched Framelit Oval. Fold in the 2 flaps before putting the top plate on so it fits through the machine.

I placed a piece of acetate behind the oval and using scissors, cut up each of the two centre score lines to the first fold, then you can glue the box together and decorate as desired!
