Epic Celebrations in Triple Time

Dear Crafters,

Today I share a masculine kids card using the Epic Celebrations stamp set from the Saleabration brochure, which you can select for FREE with any $90 order!

I really struggle to create masculine cards, but when we used the Triple Time Stamping Technique in my last class, I thought this stamp set would be perfect.

The images are stamped in Basic Black ink and then coloured lightly with Watercolour Pencils and blended with Blender Pens.

Dear Crafters,

Naturally today, I have to share a valentine’s day card, using product from the Painted with Love Suite, consisting of the Sure Do Love You stamp set and the Lots to Love Box Framelits dies from the Occasions catalogue. Purchase these as a bundle and you save 10%.

I don’t know if the man in your life is like mine and isn’t into too much fancy stuff on cards, so this card today is very simple. We actually don’t even celebrate Valentine’s Day, but what the heck, I have this bundle and so I’ve made something small.

Let the Good Times Roll on Australia Day!

Dear Crafters,

Today I share this card using the Let the Good Times Roll bundle in the Occasions catalogue. You may remember I shared one earlier in January that was a feminine one, but today is my dads 70th birthday and I thought this was an appropriate card for him, as it brought back wonderful memories of the times he would take me on the rides at the theme parks while my mum & sister looked on in terror!!!! Dad & I loved them!!!

The base card measures 8¼” x 5⅞” and is folded in half.
The Whisper White insert measures 8″ x 5½”.

Are you ready to see the magic happen as you open up the card to reveal the 3D pop up inside?

Who wouldn’t get a thrill out of opening this card?!!!! Isn’t it just so cool?!!

This is a 14 piece photopolymer set, so it makes it super easy to line up the stamped images as well as using the coordinating dies to cut them out so no more fussy cutting! I have used lots of colour as I think it is such a fun card that screams colour!

Remember, here are the tips I found when using this bundle:

use whisper white, not the thick whisper white card, it’s easier to fold the tracks
do not score your white card all the way through. Only score each side about 1/2″, line up the die and then cut, then use a ruler to score across to the edge of the die cut
Score along each edge of the tracks and the bottom edge before trying to fold them
Add an extra layer over the framework of the roller coaster for strength
it will fold flat, you just need patience in the manipulating of the tracks

Can you believe there are only 2 more days left of 2017?

Where on earth did this year go??? It all happened so fast and with Christmas done and dusted, it’s time to start thinking about Sale-a-bration and the release of the Occasions catalogue.

Today’s card is full of fun colour and uses the new Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set available in the Occasions catalogue starting in 3rd January!

What kid doesn’t love a party blower on their birthday? I know for sure that they are a hit amongst my girls and I’m sure little boys are no different!

I have used some beautiful bright colours for this card; Peekaboo Peach, Lemon Lime Twist, Pool Party & Tempting Turquoise.

This stamp set is photopolymer, so lining up the stamps to create the party blowers is actually not as hard as it may seem. I just love this colour combination for boys and all the stamps in this set, make it so easy to create such a fun card.

I have made this card with my nephew in mind. His birthday is in January and he loves blues and greens, so perfect for him.

Dear Crafters,

It’s coming to the end of the school year, and many teachers come and go at this time, so here is another Masculine farewell card, using the Lovely as a Tree & Hardwood stamp sets.

I stamped the woodgrain image and them used a sponge dauber to add some extra colour and tone.

I also sponged some Marina Mist ink across the branches of the trees to give some colour to the sky behind. The font was printed on my computer.

I love the simplicity of this card, although it uses many different products. The Copper gives it a gorgeous shine and I love how the Sheet Music stamp is directly stamped onto the Wood Textures DSP! Can you see that under those leaves? I actually stamped it off once before stamping onto the paper so it was a little more subtle.

I copper embossed the Early Espresso card with the large maple leaf and heat set it before die cutting the shape. The sentiment is actually from the Rose Wonder stamp set.

I have obviously gone for the earthy tones and the Seasonal Layers thinlits are the perfect match, along with some of the burlap ribbon. The sentiment is from the Delightful Daisy stamp set as I wanted a fairly large image to stamp onto the Oval Stitched Shapes framelits die cut.

Earthy tones for a Masculine card

Hello Friends,

My project today is a Masculine Farewell card using the Wood Textures Designer Paper, Painted Harvest stamp set and the Seasonal Layers thinlits.

I initially had the Lemon Lime Twist panel on the left plain, but then i decided to stamp those little acorns and I think it looks great. I also stamped one on the envelope!

The sentiment was printed using my computer, but look at that detail in the Wood Textures DSP?!!! It has so much detail and it looks so real! I love these detailed leaves too.
