Each week some of the Art With Heart team are joining the Colour Creations Showcase to bring you creative inspiration to showcase our range of 50+ gorgeous Stampin’ Up! colours.
Week 45 – Seaside Spray
Seaside Spray is from the 2019-2021 In Color collection. It is one of my favourites and I am sure going to miss it when it retires on 3 May.
The Hydrangea Hill DSP is embossed with the Subtle 3D Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and glued to a white card base. I die cut a variety of flowers and leaves using the Pierced Blooms dies in Seaside Spray, Soft Sea Foam and Purple Posy cardstock. The vellum layer is die cut using the Flowering Vine dies.
The sentiment panel is stamped (Beautiful Friendship stamp set) and die cut. After cutting, turn it over still in the die and run a stylus around the edge to give it that extra embossed edge. Fold some ribbon behind the sentiment and add some dimensionals at either end to adhere it to the card.
To finish, I added some Faux Resin dots, Rhinestone Jewels and Butterfly Gems.

A lovely, lovely card Kate. Such attention to detail with the embossed DSP background, soft pastel flowers/leaves, the vellum die cut layer, as well as ribbon, embellishments and the amazing tip – to give extra border detail to the label. Must give this a try. Gorgeous card.

Beautiful card Kate where the colours coordinate perfectly and love the embossed background. I’m sorry I missed out on getting that ribbon as it sold out in the Last chance product sale!
