Farewell Purple Posy

With the new Annual catalogue launching on 4th May, we will say farewell to 5 InColors.

2019 - 2021 In Colours

Following on from Monday’s post, I am sharing my love with the Pansy Patch Bundle again. Purple Posy is a brilliant trio with Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape. You may notice some of the new In Colors too, in Soft Succulent and Pale Papaya!

I was inspired by the pansies that I have growing in pots in my outdoor area. I love the pops of colour these gorgeous, delicate blooms provide.

My card base is Gorgeous Grape, the layer is Purple Posy and the Layering Circles dies are Highland Heather. The white layer is cut using the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

The large pansy is die cut from the three purples and a Pale Papaya centre. The smaller pansies are stamped in the Pale Papaya using the Stamparatus. The outline is stamped twice to get that lovely darker tone and the centre is stamped off once for a much lighter tone. The leaves are done the same way with Soft Succulent ink.

On the inside a single pansy is stamped and a small strip of Purple Posy card down the left side, with plenty of room to write a birthday message.
