Tonight I have a 4″ x 4″ bookmark card using the Brightly Gleaming Suite.
Start with a Mossy Meadow card base 10¾” x 4⅛”.
Score at 4¼” then turn the card 90o and score again at 2¼” and then perforate this line.
Insert the smaller end into the Scallop Tag Topper Punch so the edge lines up with the perforation, punch, then trim off the excess.
To decorate:
1 x DSP to 3⅞” x 3⅞”.
1 x DSP 2” x 4” and punch with the scallop tag topper punch and glue to the bookmark.
1 piece 3” x 3” for the front and 1 piece 4″ x 4″ Very Vanilla card for the inside. Rub the edges of the 3″ x 3″ card with the Celestial Copper Delicata Metallic Ink pad.
Stamp the holly images (Mossy Meadow ink) and fussy cut before adhering to the Very Vanilla square with dimensionals. Punch 2 x small baubles from DSP and 1 x larger one in Copper Foil, then emboss it with the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder.
Stamp the sentiments in the Celestial Copper ink. On the inside of the card, the string is actually created by running the edge of a metal ruler on the Celestial Copper ink pad and using it as a stamp!
Finish off with a coordinating piece of ribbon. I used a bambi stapler to hold it.
and here’s a coordinating bon bon but slightly smaller than the one I shared in last week’s Christmas Blog Hop (you can see the instructions here). The only difference is that I made this one shorter starting with 8″ x 8½” Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP. All the other instructions are the same!

Wow, what a great set of projects. They look so festive. The added bookmark in the card is a great idea. Genius idea to create the bauble string too!

Now that’s a bit clever – a card and gift all in one! I will have to try that one out. I think I still have my perforated blade for my trimmer 🙂 Your card and bon bon are awesome.
