Calypso Coral: Hexagon Twisted Card

Week 14 – Calypso Coral

This handmade fun fold card features the Mixed Florals stamp set and coordinating dies and the Botanical Textures Designer Series Paper (DSP).

Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers were used to colour the images that were stamped in Black Memento ink. Under the feature image is some Black Two Tone cardstock (lighter shade side), Lace Doilies and some Gold Twisted Thread.

As you start to open the card you get a glimpse of what is to come!

Under these featured images is some Black Two Tone cardstock (lighter shade side) and another of the Lace Doilies.

Here is the card fully open where you can see the large white diamond in the centre for writing your message to the recipient.

This is the left side showing the sentiment and a leaf in the lower section that pops up when closing the card

on the right side, a similiar situation with more feature images and a different sentiment

Week 44 – Poppy Parade

Today we are using the Mixed Media Florals Memories & More Card Pack, the Greetings for All Memories & More Euphemera Pack and the Mixed Florals Bundle.

Card 1 – Mixed Media Florals Memories & More Card Pack and the Greetings for All Memories & More Euphemera Pack for a quick sentiment.

On a Thick Basic White cardbase, I’ve used one of the Mixed Media Florals M&M cards as my background instantly creating a frame. The white frame is die cut using two of the nesting Textured Notes dies and this is added on Dimensionals for some added depth.

The image is stamped in Black Memento ink and coloured using Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers. Die cut using the coordinating dies and glued to the white frame.

The sentiment is also glued to the frame. They are brilliant to add to your cards, especially if you are time poor and need quick sentiments. Some Tinsel Gems were added to finish it off!

Card 2 – is a stepped up verion with the other main image in the Mixed Florals bundle. Adding some On the Go DSP (right) & 2024-26 In Color™ DSP (left) with the stamped/die cut image on top on Dimensionals. I also added the white diecut behind for added interest. Using Stampin’ Blends Combo markers in Calypso Coral, Poppy Parade, Summer Splash & Shy Shamrock to colour it.

I decided to stamp the image again and fussy cut the tulips and oloured them again and added them on top with a Dimensional. Some stamped/coloured/diecut ladybugs were added for cuteness. The sentiment [Beautiful Butterflies] is stamped and fussy cut with a White Ribbon bow attached behind then added to the card on more Dimensionals. I used a retired corner rounder punch for the corners. Some 2024-26 In Color™ Resin Dots are added to finish.

Pecan Pie: Mixed Florals

Week 41- Pecan Pie

Today I feature the Mixed Florals Bundle, Elements of Text and the Mixed Labels dies on Very Vanilla cardstock.

I heat embossed the large image and sentiment in Copper WOW Emboss Powder for something different. I used Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers; Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie to colour the image. All the background stamping is 2^nd generation (stamping onto scrap paper before onto the card for a lighter tone). I used the Light Pecan Pie marker to colour the Linen Thread.

Mixed Florals Lots of Love card

Again I feature the Mixed Florals bundle with another of the images in the set.

A Thick Basic White card base with Gold Foil diecut using the Stitched Rectangle dies. The Everyday Arches dies is the next layer with the stamped image popped up on top on Dimensionals.

The images are stamped in Versamark ink, Gold Emboss Powder added and melted with my Heat Tool. I used my Blends Combo Markers to colour the image; Boho Blue, Soft Sea Foam, Summer Splash, Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath and Fresh Freesia.

The sentiment [Hearts of Elegance] is first stamped in Versamark ink then directly into Fresh Freesia ink and stamped onto Basic White cardstock. Clear Embossing Powder is added and melted with my Heat Tool before fussy cutting with Paper Snips. I added a Unbounded Love die cut piece behind it in Fresh Freesia. Some Twisted Gold Thread is tied in a bow and sits on a Glue Dot behind the sentiment. Wink of Stella is added to the two flower centres and petals, although this is hard to photograph.

On the inside and on the envelope, I added a simple stamped Fresh Freesia image which you can see in the first photograph above.

Moody Mauve: Mixed Florals Just for You card

Week 36 –

Today I feature the Mixed Florals bundle.

A Thick Basic White card base with a strip of the Wild Flowering DSP and a thinner strip of Gold Foil are placed to the left. The Everyday Arches dies (yes, my favourite) is dry embossed with the Starburst Embossing Folder, one of the Saleabration rewards with a qualifying order.

The image is stamped in Versamark ink, Gold Emboss Powder added and melted with my Heat Tool. I used my Water Painters to colour the image; Boho Blue, Summer Splash, Moody Mauve and Blackberry Bliss. I popped this up on Dimensionals.

The sentiment [Labeled with Love] is stamped in Moody Mauve on Basic White cardstock and I flagged one end with Paper Snips. I added some Purple Adhesive-backed Sequins (Saleabration free product), In Color™ Shimmer Gems and Twisted Gold Thread.

On the inside and on the envelope, I added a simple stamped Moody Mauve image.
