Centre Step Fancy Fold cards

Here are two centre step cards that I case’d from Cheryl Algie, using the New Horizons Designer Series Paper and the On the Horizon Bundle and In The Moment stamp set.

The first card is a Misty Moonlight card base, New Horizons Designer Series Paper, Pebbles Enamel Shapes. The birds are stamped in Misty Moonlight ink. The grass and trees are die cut from Evening Evergreen card. The mountains are die cut from Misty Moonlight and Basic White card. These are adhered with Multipurpose Glue.

My second card is a Blackberry Bliss card base and In The Moment stamp set. The birds are stamped in Blackberry Bliss. The main image was stamped in Memento Black ink on Basic White card, fussy cut with Paper Snips and coloured using Stampin’ Blends Marker Combos; Fresh Freesia, Soft Succulent, Pale Papaya, Medium Light SU800, Medium Deep SU300/SU400.

Once coloured I added it to the card with Mini Dimensionals. I finished it off with some Iridescent Rhinestone Jewels.

Week 26 – Melon Mambo

Tonight I have a little sneak peek of a new stamp set available in the 2022 Mini Catalogue, called In the Moment Cling Stamp Set.

In the Moment stamp set for Melon Mambo CCBH by Kate Morgan, Stampin Up Australia 2021

The main image is stamped in Black Memento ink and coloured with Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers. I stamped the image again onto some patterned paper (the same piece as the scalloped frame), fussy cut it and glued it to the stamped image. This technique is called Paper Piecing. Once this was done, I felt it needed a lovely blue sky, so I used the Blending Brushes with the Pool Party ink and the cloud shape from the Basic Borders dies to create the sky. I continued this to the bottom of the white card, as this lady is on a top balcony of a Gold Coast highrise apartment on holidays, enjoying a 5 o’clock wine (are you with me?!!) I think all this time in lockdown has me yearning for a holiday 😉

This is the inside with more clouds at the top, a sentiment and some scalloped edging at the bottom using the two patterned papers and the Scalloped Countours dies.
