I am very sad to be saying farewell to quite a few of the products in today’s card; the gorgeous Beautiful Bouquet Stamp set, the Best Dressed DSP and the In Color, Lovely Lipstick 😦

I have teamed these up with the Beauty Abounds stamp set, but this one is staying in the new catalogue.

I placed a piece of 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ white card stock in the Stamparatus and stamped in a circle using a template. You can find loads of video tutorials on this technique, Stamp in the Round on YouTube. The mat layers are Lovely Lipstick placed on a White card base.

Have you tried this technique? It is such a fun way to create a card and especially if you like to be precise with your layouts 😉

Ornate Garden Suite is stunning

Tonight’s card uses the Ornate Garden Suite – an early release from the upcoming Annual catalogue, available now 😁

I love that we are able to get a little insight into the new catalogue before we receive a hard copy and all the new products that will become available.

Look at this amazing embossed background – Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder. It adds wonderful texture to the card.

I used silver foil and die cut the frame using the stunning Ornate Layers Dies. You can add these dies to your order now too! I love how the Medium Daisy punch coordinates so well with this suite and those Perennial Essence Floral centres!

On the inside I die cut the pretty Ornate Border die and left the card without a sentiment, as I’m not sure who will receive this card as yet. I think it could be used for just about any occasion though, don’t you?

Golfer with Lipstick!

Tonight’s project is another feminine golfer card using the gorgeous colour, Lovely Lipstick. I am going to be so sad when this colour retires in June 😪

Colour the line image on the reverse side of the DSP with Stampin’ Blends Markers. The wood element I initially stamped with Lovely Lipstick ink but it bled so bad and I was thinking that I had ruined it. Easy fix: colour with the the blend marker and then stamp the sentiment in Stazon Black ink! Phew!

Straight to the Clubhouse

Tonight’s card was super quick to make with just some DSP, embellishments and stamping. By adding a few die cuts to add some interest, this card was done in no time!

Cut the piece of DSP 5mm smaller than your card front, then cut it at 8cm and flip the smaller piece over and glue them to the front of the card! I put some twine across this join with a couple of glue dots holding it down.

These wood elements are so awesome for adding texture to your cards. Simply stamp a sentiment on the shield with Black Stazon ink so it doesn’t bleed (don’t ask me how I know)! This particular stamp is from the A Good Man stamp set.

For the Lady Golfer

Most golfing cards that you see are usually of a masculine theme. Well tonight, I have made a feminine version for all those ladies out there!

My mum plays golf and she has made lots of friends through her golf club, so I’m sure they will appreciate this one.

The DSP layer is embossed with the Absolute Argyle embossing folder for extra texture. The image is actually one of sheets of DSP. It has multiple line images which can be coloured and I love that they include a lady image.

The wooden elements are a lovely touch and I stamped it with the Stazon Black ink so it doesn’t bleed into the wood.

Bright Poppies for a Happy Birthday

Tonight’s card is a bright and bold card using the Painted Poppies stamp set, coordinating Elements and Designer Series Paper.

I stamped the card front with the poppy stamp in Versamark ink as I wanted that watermark look. Strips of the designer paper were added before I added the black circle element. I watercoloured the poppy and leaf from the elements pack and once dry, placed them on with dimensionals.

The sentiment is stamped in Versamark ink on black card and Gold Emboss Powder added and heat set. I fussy cut this and added it with dimensionals. I love how bold it is and the gold adds some class and shine!

Regrowth after the devastating fires

Wow, it’s April already and what a year it has been! We started the year here in Australia with those terrible bushfires raging across our country and now the coronavirus has taken over the world 😦 Thank goodness it is school holidays now and we can isolate in safety at home, meaning plenty of time to craft! Who doesn’t love a good reason for that?!!!

We need to go on and stay positive, so tonight’s card is bright and cheery and has lots of poppy flowers reminding me of the regrowth happening following the devastating fires!

I love the vellum element behind the pre-printed one and that black circle really makes the poppies pop!
