Today we celebrate my baby girls 6th birthday! I can’t believe that she is already 6, wow time flies.

The Melon Mambo flower is punched with the Flower Medallion Punch and then I fussy cut the other two flowers by hand with paper snips. I’ve also added a candy dot to the centre and some silver thread behind for a little bling!

Happy Birthday Ella!

Dear Crafters,

This is a very similar card to one I shared last week using the Hey Girl stamp set. This is for my daughter’s friend, Ella who is having a party after school today!

I have used a couple of Ella’s favourite colours; Melon Mambo, Whisper White and Silver to create the perfect card for a 6 year old.

I have used the Triple Banner Punch and the Little Numbers Thinlits. I fussy cut the image and coloured her using Copic markers. The sentiment is from the stamp set, And Many More.

Don’t forget to stamp the inside of the card to make it personal and the envelope to coordinate!

Gift Bag of Cards

Dear Crafters,

Today I share a project with you that uses some recently retired card stock and DSP, but I love these colours and miss them lots.

Coastal Cabana is the main colour here, with Smoky Slate and Silver Glimmer card, but these projects can be made with anything you may already have at home!

This cute bag uses only 1 sheet of DSP and A4 card stock. Ho cute is it? Inside you can see some A5 cards and matching C6 envelopes. It is so sturdy and quite large, as it will hold 10-12 cards depending on the amount of embellishments on the cards.

Here are two of the coordinating cards that I made to go inside.

You Little Furball

Dear Crafters,

Today I share a card for my niece who recently got a black and white kitten, similar to ours, and so I thought it would be the perfect idea to incorporate 2 black and white cats using the You Little Furball stamp set!

I used the Brick Wall TIEF to emboss the bricks and then coloured them with a sponge dauber and inkpads.

Don’t forget to stamp the inside of the card!

Butterflies, Challenges, JAI, Weekly Deals

Just Add Butterflies

Today I enter a challenge at Just Add Ink. The challenge this week is to Just Add Butterflies, JAI#272.

Butterflies #Stampin'Up!

I began by embossing the black card with the Butterflies TIEF in the Big Shot. I die cut the two banners using the Lots of Labels Framelits.

I stamped the flowers (Awesomely Artistic stamp set) in Versamark ink, then added clear embossing powder and heat set. I used the Blender Pens with Wild Wasabi ink to colour them.

Colours used: Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi and Gold.

The sentiment is from the Greetings Thinlits in gold glitter paper, as is the butterfly (Bold Butterfly Framelits).

Birthday, feminine, Kids Cards

Hey Girl

Dear Crafters,

Sorry I’m a little slow today in getting my blog post out, but I have fractured my ankle following a fall a couple of week ago. I had no idea it was fractured until I had an x-ray late last week and found out the results on the weekend and now I am in a moon boot 😦 Apparently they don’t plaster any more (that is old school), so at least I can remove the moon boot to shower!

But it certainly isn’t the most comfortable thing to get used to, although I guess I have plenty of time to learn, as I have to wear it for the next few weeks and no driving, so the only good news is, there is now plenty of time to craft!

Anyway, let’s get on with the card shall we? Over the next few weeks we have birthdays galore, so today I share a card that I have made for a birthday this weekend, using the Hey Girl stamp set.
