SAB Wonderful World Feminine Split Textures card

2022-23 CCBH Logo

Each week some of the Art With Heart team are joining  the Colour Creations Blog Hop to bring you creative inspiration showcasing our range of 50+ gorgeous Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order.

Week 10 – Blushing Bride

Tonight I have a feminine floral card using the Wonderful World DSP (part of the Saleabration Free item with a qualifying order). The Basic White layer is die cut with the Split Textures die and a piece of the DSP placed behind it. Some Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon is wrapped around and tied in a bow on the front. This is glued to the Blushing Bride card base. Using Paper Snips, fussy cut the floral arrangement from a piece of the patterned paper and add it with dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment in Versamark ink onto Blushing Bride card using the Charming Sentiments stamp set. Add White Emboss Powder and heat set it using the Heat Tool. Cut it out with the coordinating, Sentiment Silhouettes dies and add with Mini Dimensionals. Finish off with some Iridescent Rhinestones Jewels.

On the inside I repeated the process with the DSP and Split Textures dies and added a single bloom that was fussy cut with Paper Snips from the designer papers. Isn’t it pretty?!!

  1. Wow Kate I am in awe of your patience. I don’t fussy cut so took the cheats way with this paper and used a range circle dies. I love the way you have used the coordinating paper behind the ‘grid’ die. The hint of colour behind works perfectly with the large flower as the focal point.

  2. Beautiful card Kate and shows off the very pretty DSP. I love how you have used the DSP as a focal cut-out and how it peeks through the split die cut panel. The Soft Seafoam ribbon adds to the softness of your card.

  3. Such a pretty card Kate and as someone else said it is one of my faves of all your creations. It is so soft and feminine. Between you and Rachel you are convincing me to get those dies!

  4. Kate, I think this would have to be my favourite of all your cards … it is SO pretty! Love the DSP behind the lattice die-cut, and the gorgeous blooms cut from the DSP to feature on the card front.

  5. What a fabulously feminine card, Kate. This design is absolutely gorgeous and like Tina, I love the effect of the DSP behind the lattice and the carry through to the inside of the card too.
