Tonight’s Stampin’ Up! colour for our Colour Creations Showcase is Crumb Cake!
Nothing’s Better Than Chocolate during lockdown 2.0, so tonight I have a yummy card to share with you!
Whether you like dark, milk, white or some other variety, there is usually some flavour that you can enjoy when it comes to chocolate. Well, my preference is dark, but this card features more of a Top Deck style block! Using Soft Suede and Crumb Cake for my chocolate layers and the Dainty Diamonds TIEF to give a bit of a classy and more exclusive effect to my block. Every piece of card to create this chocolate has been sponged around the edges to give a real depth to it. Yes, it took some time, but it is so much more effective and pleasing on the eye.
The inside is also decorated with a piece of chocolate as well as some stamping and more layered die cutting!
The piece of foil adds to the authenticity of a real block of chocolate being ripped open.

Great chocolate card and reminds me of Caramilk and snap, totally what I am showcasing for my Early Espresso card (you just bet me to it!)

Hehe, I think I will have to make a version of this card for my husband for Father’s Day. All the little details are fabulous, especially the embossing on the top piece of chocolate.

What a witty card Kate, perfect for these lockdown days. The colours you’ve used are really lively too. I can control myself all day, and then after dinner just crave something sweet.

Wow Kate! You have so much creativity to come up with this card – the Dainty diamonds EF is absolutely perfect – and so much patience to sponge the edge of all of those pieces. What an incredible card! Thank you for inspiring us all with your crumb cake creation!
