Dear Crafters,

Wow, can you believe it is already May?!!! Neither can I and that means it’s the month for celebrating our wonderful mums!

So, today I am sharing two cards that I have made for Mother’s Day, using the retiring Succulent Garden Suite 😦 I know I am not the only one who is upset by this suite retiring, I think nearly every Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is also sad.

If you also love this suite, be quick, as it is only while stocks last.

Suite Sayings

Dear Crafters,

Today I have a card using the Birthday Blooms & Suite Saying stamp sets from the Occasions 2016 catalogue!

I love how these flowers pop off the sides of the card and this sentiment can be used for so many different things, this one for Mother’s Day.

My colour scheme: Calypso Coral, Pear Pizzazz, Basic Black & Whisper White.

This is a single layer card, so no dimension, but it really doesn’t need it.

I stamped the flowers first and then coloured them using Stampin’ Write Markers and some Wink of Stella over the top on the petals (you can see it below)!

Tea with flowers

Dear Crafters,

Today I share a card that I created with Mother’s Day in mind!

It isn’t too far away and we need to start thinking about this very special day we celebrate in honour of our mums who have done so much for us to raise us into beautiful human beings.

My colour scheme: Daffodil Delight, Lost Lagoon, Perfect Plum & Whisper White.

I stamped the Petite Petals images multiple times on Whisper White card stock before punching them out with the coordinating punch. The tea cup and spoon are from the Cups & Kettle Framelits dies in the Occasions 2016 catalogue.

I cut a doily into quarters and only used 1 piece. The spoon is Smoky Slate card stock with a little Wink of Stella added to the tip.

A small pearl embellishment was added to each flower to finish it off.

feminine, Free Product, Handmade Cards, Mini Catalogue and Sale-a-bration (SAB), Mother's Day

Love is Mother’s Day

Dear Crafters,

It’s only another week and half until Sale-a-bration ends for another year 😦

Today, I share a card using the Love is Kindness stamp in some of my favourite colours; Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral, Lost Lagoon and Sahara Sand.

Love is Kindness

The base card is Sahara Sand with another layer stamped with the Dictionary background stamp in coordinating ink and sponged edges.

I then added a layer of the Sahara Sand Lace Trim from the Occasions Catalogue. The next layer is Crisp Cantaloupe with Lost Lagoon and the top layer is Whisper White. On this top layer I stamped the Love is Kindness image in Black ink and coloured the stems with Lost Lagoon and the blooms with the Calyspo Coral Blendabilities. The wrap around the flowers was stamped again onto Sahara Sand card and fussy cut before adding to the white card.

I added some Crisp Cantaloupe sequins to the bottom with glue dots!

Love is Kindness

I even added a coordinating Calyspo Coral ribbon bow.

I stamped the inside of the card as well with the Dictionary background stamp, something that is a must in all my cards, as you know, along with the envelope!

Aren’t they just stunning colours together?!!

Blendabilities Update

I am VERY sad to share this news with you that the Blendabilties alcohol markers have been discontinued, as some have arrived dry to our customers. In a nutshell, the manufacturer is unable to correct the problem and provide Stampin’ Up! with a solution. Therefore the product line has been discontinued. The good news is that Stampin’ Up! is committed to ONLY selling the BEST products available, so rather than ship a defective product and continue to send replacements, they have made this decision.

The Memento Black Ink pad and refill will still be available (and that’s great news because it’s an awesome black inkpad!)

What should you do?

If you currently have a pack of Blendabilities on backorder that you purchased, do nothing, you will receive a refund from Stampin’ Up! within the next month.

If you feel you have a defective package of Blendabilities, please contact Stampin’ Up! Demo Support at 1 800 787 867.

If you need ideas for colouring your images, we still have our great Stampin’ Write Markers, our Blender Pens, and our AquaPainters to use with your Stampin’ Up! ink pads.

Note: due to the unavailability of the Blendabilities as part of the advertised Sale-a-bration offering, some of the other Sale-a-bration products MAY run out. Stamp sets will be available through to 31st March, but the other items MAY risk selling out.

There is under 3 weeks left of Sale-a-bration, so if you want your free gifts, be sure to add them to your order of $90+.

Have a wonderful day!

Sale-a-bration, 6th January – 31st March 2015

Be sure to place your online order today and for every $90 that you spend, you can choose 1 Sale-a-bration item FREE. So if you spend $180, you choose 2 items for FREE, etc.
