CCBH Highland Heather – Sparkly Playful Alphabet

CCS Logo 2021-22

Each week some of the Art With Heart team are joining the Colour Creations Blog Hop to bring you creative inspiration to showcase our range of 50+ gorgeous Stampin’ Up! colours.

Week 22 – Highland Heather

Tonight I am focusing on using the Playful Alphabet dies as my focus. I chose the Hand-Penned Designer Series Papers and the Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP pack, which is the purple in the background. The Pale Papaya panel lightens the card up a little more with the coordinating colour ribbon.

I just adore this piece of floral paper and the Scalloped Rectangle die is perfect for gorgeous feminine cards.

Before die cutting the letters, I placed some adhesive foam sheet on the back of the Highland Heather cardstock before running it through with the dies. This way, you just peel the backing off the foam and adhere each letter to the card (lining them up with a ruler). I really like how they are right justified and it also makesd it easier to get the spacing just right 😉

As you can sort of see in this photo, I added some Wink of Stella for extra sparkle to each of the letters.

On the inside, I added the extra piece of the floral paper (which I did cut the centre out of for the front). Then I added some white card to write my message.
