Today’s cards are inspired by my recent week long holiday to Phillip Island. It was great to get away from the city and enjoy the slower pace of seaside living, sound of the ocean and fresh air!
When I got home after not taking any craft with me, I was inspired to get creating. So are you ready to see my projects?!!!
Here are some of the items; Waves of Inspiration stamp set and coordinating Waves dies, Waves of the Ocean Designer 12×12 Papers, 12×12 Blue Foil Specialty Pack, and the Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels. The stamp and die bundle will be in the new Annual catalogue released on 3 May, however the other items are limited and available until 3 May if not sold out prior.
I have also used the Paradise Palms Bundle (Paradise Palms stamp set and Palms dies).
Card 1 – a simple design with some DSP, then a ring/circle of the Blue Foil cut using the new Stylish Shapes dies #159183 (available 3 May) and popped up on Foam Adhesive Strips. The wave is cut in Basic White card and adhered behind the circle.
The sentiment is stamped in Pacific Point ink and cut out using Paper Snips.
Card 2 – uses the DSP on a matt layer of Calypso Coral card on a Thick Basic White card base. I stamped the birds and grass (On the Horizon) directly onto the DSP in Soft Suede ink and the sentiment and pelican onto Basic White and die cut. Some Pebble Enamel Shapes were added along with some Rhinestone Wave Jewels.
Card 3 – a Pacific Point card base, the wave die cut in the same colour adhered across the centre of the card. The Scalloped Contours dies cut out the DSP which is popped up on Dimensionals. The stamping is again in Soft Suede ink and the clouds and birds die cut in Basic White. Rhinestone Waves Jewels to finish it off.
Card 4 – Coastal Cabana card base, layer of Pacific Point then DSP. The Green and Silver Foil from the Blue Foils Specialty Pack were used to cut the moon, grass and the Palm trees. The sentiment is stamped in Pacific Point ink on White card and cut using the new Stylish Shapes dies #159183 (available 3 May).
Card 5 – a Pacific Point card base with matt layers of the blue foil and green foil followed by the DSP. The sentiment is stamped in Pacific Point ink.
The two waves dies are cut in the 2 foil colours also and adhered one of top of the other.
Here is the stamping on the inside of this card.
Card 6 – using all the same products as the previous cards, although I did stamp the Palm fronds in Saddle Brown Stazon ink onto the green foil as I knew it would dry being a permanent ink!
Here is a closer look at them!

Which of the 6 cards is your favourite and why?
