Triangle Patchwork Card

2022-23 CCBH Logo

Each week some of the Art With Heart team are joining  the Colour Creations Blog Hop to bring you creative inspiration showcasing our range of 50+ gorgeous Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order.

Week 6 – Balmy Blue

Tonight we showcase Balmy Blue, and I have teamed it with Night of Navy and the gorgeous Abstract Beauty Specialty DSP.

I love this easy design using the gorgeous Abstract Beauty patterned papers as a patchwork style background. Using 4 rectangles of DSP measuring 6.9cm x 4.5cm and then cut each one on the diagonal so you have 8 triangles. Lay them out in your desired pattern.

The sentiment is stamped onto Basic White card and die cut using the Stylish Shapes dies. A Navy banner in the next size up was cut to place behind. I felt there was something missing, so I used the Give it a Whirl dies to cut a heart from the new In Color Glimmer card. Don’t you think it makes all the difference?!!!

On the inside a piece of Basic White card is added with another Glimmer heart in the smaller size.
