Sweet Sorbet Dutch Fold Card

2022-23 CCBH Logo

Each week some of the Art With Heart team are joining  the Colour Creations Blog Hop to bring you creative inspiration showcasing our range of 50+ gorgeous Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order.

Week 4 – Sweet Sorbet

Tonight we showcase our fourth of the new 2022-2024 In Colors, Sweet Sorbet!

This colour reminds me a bit of a retired colour, Strawberry Slush (2013-2015 In Color) although this is slightly darker. I have used Sweet Sorbet with Parakeet Party, another new in Color this year. The Bottled Happiness Bundle (Bottled Happiness stamp set and coordinating Vintage Bottle punch) features on my card, along with two designs from the In Color Designer Series Paper 6×6 Pack.

Using the Stitched Rectangle dies to cut two in Parakeet Party and Basic White card, and stamping the feature images on the white layer. These stamps are photopolymer, so you can stamp the first layer in Sweet Sorbet and easily line up the next leafy image in Parakeet Party and the bottle.

Can you see those lovely In Color Matte Decorative Dots? They are a lovely touch along with the Sweet Sorbet Metallic Woven Ribbon tied in a bow!

I was inspired by Jan B (UK demonstrator) and followed her measurements, although I used different products, but I like the way the centre feature sits between the Dutch fold doors to stand up to display.

Thanks for dropping by. I hope you can join me next week for our 5th new In Color, Tahitian Tide!

Please hop across to our next participant and enjoy the wonderful inspiration of Rachel Palmieri!

  1. Kate I haven’t seen this fancy fold before but I really like it, particularly the way that it stands up so nicely. Your choice of colours makes for a very bright and cheerful birthday card.

  3. What a lovely bright, happy, colour combination, Kate. I love all those flowers stamped in Sweet Sorbet. The die-cut Stitched Rectangles look so good, especially against the striped paper. Great card!
