Each Monday evening until mid-December, I am taking part in the Heart of Christmas blog hop showcasing our amazing range of holiday products from the Annual and July-December Mini catalogues. Please hop along and enjoy some fabulous inspiration from our talented team!
Tonight I have a Bay Window fancy fold card. It may look quite complicated but it is actually very easy to make and doesn’t it look impressive?!!!
I am using the Penguin Playmates DSP & Be Dazzling Specialty Paper. Each can be earned for FREE with any $90+ order during Saleabration (ends 30 September) or select both for a $180+ order!
My card base is Fresh Freesia and the gorgeous Be Dazzling Specialty paper was added in two small strips down each side on the front of the card.
The images on the front of this card have been fussy cut from one of the sheets of the DSP. The penguin on the right side has been punched out of the sheet of DSP using the Penguin Builder Punch. I also punched out another penguin in Thick Basic White card and glued it behind to add more strength before placing three dimensionals behind it and adding it to the card. This is how the card sits up, by placing the edge of the card behind the penguin.
The Wonderful Snowflakes embellishments was coloured on the shiny side using the Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends Marker and glued to the card.
The sentiments are from the Christmas to Remember stamp set. I fussy cut a fox to place on the inside with the sentiment.
This card folds flat to fit inside my handmade envelope for posting (instructions can be found on my Tutorials page)!
I added a small strip of the Be Dazzling Paper for some pretty sparkle!
Metric Measurements:
Fresh Freesia Card Base: 10.5cm x 28cm; score at 1cm, 4.8cm, 9.2cm, 13cm, 14cm
DSP for Window Panels: 15.2cm x 10.2cm (cut at 3.5cm, 4.2cm, 3.5cm, 4.2cm)
DSP: 0.6cm x 10.2cm, 2 pieces
Basic White for inside: 8.2cm x 10.2cm

Kate this is super cool (get it? LOL)! But seriously this is one of the best cards I’ve seen using this DSP and I love this fancy fold, it is sort of like a sideways easel card, i think? The coloured snowflake looks beautiful too – so much to look at and so much to love!

Those penguins and playmates DSP are sure cute and look great displayed on the bay window fold. The strips of the Be Dazzling paper really pops by adding bling.

Kate was a great fold to show off the penguin and snowman. I have been wanting to try one of those myself so I might just have to now. Love all your detail and the dazzling strips and the snowflake.
