Rich Razzleberry Perennials

AWHT Colour Creations Showcase

Each week some of the Art With Heart team are joining the Colour Creations Showcase to bring you creative inspiration to showcase our range of 50+ gorgeous Stampin’ Up! colours.

Week 41 – Rich Razzleberry

Rich Razzleberry is from the Regals collection and a colour I used to use a lot of, but not so much recently. It was lovely to get it out again and get creative!

Today I went with the Pretty Perennials Bundle. This is my first time using these products and I thought they would look lovely in Rich RazzleberrySeaside SprayMisty Moonlight.

I began randomly stamping the background card in Rich Razzleberry ink for a lovely tone on tone effect. Then I took a 2″ strip of basic white card and used the thick brush from the Water Painters pack and watercoloured the stripes. Once it was dry, I cut it down to 1½” wide and glued it to the card front. The extra strip was glued inside the card!

Next, I stamped the flowers in various sizes and die cut them with the coordinating dies. I sat them on the card to see how I was going to place them. Once I was happy, I glued down some of the smaller ones, with the larger ones slightly layered over the top. The only one I popped up on a dimensional, was the large flower above the sentiment. The six leaves were also embossed in the Subtles TIEF and run through the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

The sentiment was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink on Seaside Spray card and fussy cut with Paper Snips. The happy is popped up on dimensionals. I also coloured the Basic Pearls with my Seaside Spray Dark Blends Marker.

  1. Perfect colour combination Kate and I love that you made your own striped paper. A truly lovely card. What a pity Pretty Perennials is retiring.

  2. A great card Kate. Where do I start – there are so many gorgeous elements. Love your water-coloured stripe panel – the stripes in the lighter tint of RR is amazing. The arrangement of the perennial flowers is lovely. Your attention to detail with embossed leaves and coloured pearls all work together for a gorgeous card. xxx
