Colour Creations Showcase: Mango Melody is a Whisky Business

AWHT Colour Creations Showcase

Each week some of the Art With Heart team are joining the Colour Creations Showcase to bring you creative inspiration to showcase our range of 50+ gorgeous Stampin’ Up! colours.

Week 24 – Mango Melody

This is a super bright colour and not one I use a lot of, but I recently purchased this stamp set, Whiskey Business during the sale and wanted to ink it up!

I used the Misty Moonlight pages from the 2020–2022 In Color 6″ x 6″ (15.2cm x 15.2cm) Designer Series Paper pack and the In Good Taste DSP to create a bench for the images to sit on.

The images are stamped in Gray Granite on White card and coloured with the Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Combo. They are fussy cut and added to the card on dimensionals. The ice cubes have Shimmery Crystal Effects added for texture. The sentiment is stamped in the Mango Melody ink on the same colour card and cut up then glued directly to the card.

On the inside I simply added off cuts of the DSP and stamped a simple sentiment.

Please head over to Cathy’s blog to see the full list of participants in this week’s Colour Creations Showcase. We would for you to visit each one and leave some comments if you feel inspired.

  1. A beautifully constructed card Kate. Love the colour palette, your colouring and the shimmery effect on the ice cubes. Dan Andrews would love your, ‘something from the top shelf’ card.

  2. The perfect colour for this stamp set Kate! The way you’ve layered your DSP on the front of your card it looks like you actually have a shelf that your whiskey is sitting on – amazing! Thank you for inspiring us with your card creation tonight xx
