Week 22 – Just Jade

Tonight’s card is a real mish mash of products – In Good Taste DSP and Peony Garden DSP, which are both on sale in October, then I have the Free as a Bird Stamp Set and the Home Together dies from the Christmas range!

When I saw this little house die, it reminded me of a bird feeder on a pole in the garden and so I paired it with the Free a a bird stamp. This image is coloured with Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I just love the dark wood of the In Good Taste DSP in the background and for the bird feeder. I initially had just the Jade embossed layer but added the piece from the Peony Garden DSP as well for some contrast. This is a real nature’s dream of a card!

  1. Kate, this is a gorgeous card! I love how you have used the wood grain DSP for the birdhouse and background. I struggle with ideas as to how I can use the various textures and patterns in this pack, even though I love them all. I love everything about your card. xx
