feminine, Handmade Cards

Stacked With Love

Hello Crafters,

I am getting in a day early to wish my mother-in-law a very happy birthday for tomorrow! You may think “terrible MIL”, but I actually get along very well with mine and we share similar interests, as she is also in my Stampin’ Up! team!!!!

Anyway, I have a very pretty card for you today, using the Happy Hearts TIEF, Stacked With Love DSP stack and the cute Sweetheart punch.

Stacked With Love

I just love these soft tones and patterns in these papers are just perfect for this style of card. In fact, I love everything about this card, from the ribbon, to the texture, so much yumminess!!!!!

This would be a perfect Valentine’s Day card lol.

I have used Pink Pirouette and Real Red throughout this card and I didn’t add a sentiment, as I thought with all the hearts it was obvious enough.

The ribbon and layering give added texture and dimension, not to mention gorgeousness!!!

Don’t forget to decorate the inside of your card and your envelope. This time I have glued some of the DSP and a punch rather than stamping!

JAI#201 – Colour Challenge

Hello Crafters,

This week at Just Add Ink is a colour challenge by Kim.

This certainly was a bit of a challenge for me ~ I don’t have anything Sahara Sand apart from one A4 piece of card stock and only the Ink Pad in Island Indigo, but I have managed to pull something together!

JAI#201

In our home, we don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day although our 7 year old is asking what it’s all about. Therefore, I thought I might just create a card with a bit of a love theme!!!  I love the Hearts a Flutter stamp set and coordinating framelits.

This is a simple card, but effective in what the message brings!

I drew the line with a blank pen and before adhering the banners with Tombo glue and the Hearts with dimensions so they stand out a bit further.

Why don’t you have a go at some of the weekly challenges too on the Just Add Ink page!
