Each week some of the Art With Heart team are joining the Colour Creations Blog Hop to bring you creative inspiration showcasing our range of 50+ gorgeous Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order.
Week 47 – So Saffron (retiring soon)
Today I have a sweet card with a waffle cone filled with ice cream and a cherry on top!
Can you believe this colour combination? All three of these colours are retiring at the end of April, but if you want any product in these colours, get it now as they will sell fast!
A So Saffron card base has a layer of Basic White stamped with the hearts. The next layer is some Vellum Basics Specialty Paper. The waffle cone is die cut from Kraft cardstock, the perfect colour for a waffle cone, don’t you think?!!
The ice cream was stamped in So Saffron, Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron inks. The cherry was stamped 5 x using the Stamparatus to get a darker shade. The sentiment is stamped and fussy cut using Paper Snips and adhered using Dimensionals. A Linen thread Bow is added with a rolled up Glue Dot.
On the inside, some more hearts are stamped with a heart die cut in the corner. I finished off with some gold Pastel Adhesive backed Sequins.
Here are all the retiring colours that will leave as the refresh takes place with the new Annual catalogue. But rest assured, there are lots of new colours coming to be excited about!
Thanks for dropping by. I hope you can join me next Wednesday for inspiration using Soft Sea Foam.
