Heart of Christmas Comfort & Joy

HOC Blog Header 2023Each Monday, some of the Art With Heart team are joining the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop to bring you creative inspiration showcasing our September-December Mini catalogue and Annual catalogue Christmas products.

Heart of Christmas Week 4

Today I am using product from our upcoming Mini catalogue, available from 6 September!

2023 September - December Mini Catalogue cover.

My card today is cased from the cover of the new Mini catalogue. My card base is Thick Basic White. The next layer is Basic White which has been die cut a few times with a die (Christmas Classics dies). This is adhered to the card base on dimensionals. I took my light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Marker and flicked some ink using the thick end against the lid.

I stamped the image 6 times in Black Memento ink so I could use the Blends Markers to colour them once they were die cut.  I arranged 5 of them in  wreath before gluing them down.

The sentiment (Christmas Classics) was fussy cut with Paper Snips and a small piece of the Gold Satin Edged Ribbon (my last bit on the roll) was placed behind and adhered on dimensionals. Some Be Dazzled Specialty paper was used to die cut ome small foliage and I placed them around the sentiment, along with some larger fronds which were coloured using a Blending Brush and Granny Apple Green ink.

To finish, I added some Gold Sequins and added Wink of Stella to the berries.

Curvy Christmas Wreath

I’m loving the Curvy Celebrations suite of products now available – some products are early release items from the upcoming 2021 Mini catalogue.

Curvy Christmas & Classic Christmas DSP

Quite Curvy & Curvy Dies

The rich colours of this Classic Christmas DSP includes Cherry Cobbler, Sahara Sand, Shaded Spruce with white, but tonight I am using all but Sahara Sand for my classic Christmas card.

I decided to create a wreath using the Stamparatus to stamp the foliage in the round. The stars were stamped the same way, to get that beautiful uniform pattern.

The bird is stamped in Memento ink, coloured with Cherry Cobbler Blends Markers and cut out with the coordinating die. The circles are cut using the Layering Circles dies.

Christmas Wreath Punch Art

Today, I am sharing a Christmas wreath card created using the Sprig Punch!

This punch is in the Holiday catalogue and has been super popular, so I’m crossing my fingers it may roll over into the next Annual catalogue.

I have a Thick Whisper White card base with a layer of Garden Green card and some DSP from the Santa’s Workshop DSP pack. I punched about 20 sprigs in Garden Green card and began layering them in a circle shape and building it up until it looked reasonably full.  I added a few Poppy Parade berries using the 1/8″ handheld circle and adhered them with Tombo Multipurpose glue.

The sentiment was stamped in Garden Green on Poppy Parade card and die cut and added with dimensionals. The bow was some of the Tea Room ribbon combo pack from the Annual catalogue. The HAPPY was die cut in Gold Glimmer and added with Tombo glue. Doesn’t it look pretty across the wreath?!!!

Christmas Wreath

Hello Stampers,

Well I have finally started my Christmas Decorations and my Christmas Wreath for the front door. What do you think?

I was going to add some more festive flurry die cuts, but then I thought it probably doesn’t need them and would it look too busy with more around the ring? Yes, I stopped myself and here is the finished product.

Stampin Up Christmas Wreath

I used Cherry Cobbler Stitched Edge Grosgrain Ribbon ($15.95 for 9.1m, item code 132135) from the Holiday Catalogue to wrap around the foam ring.

The ornament is hanging from the Silver Ribbon ($8.95 for 9.1m, item code 132137)

I made the ornament with the Festive Flurry Bundle ($83.95 clear, $95.95 wood). This bundles includes the Festive Flurry Stamp Set and the Festive Flurry Framelits Dies saving you 15% by purchasing as a bundle.

I used Smoky Slate and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Inkpads and Stampin’ Dimensionals between each Flurry. To finish it off I added a Frosted Finishes Embellishment ($11.95 for 12, item code 132150). These embellishments are adorned with rhinestones ~ you know how much I love a bit of bling!!!!

Happy stamping,

Kate
