Twinkling Tidings Card

My card this week features the new Hot Foiling System (HFS) with the Gold Foil and the Twinkling Tidings Bundle (Stamp Set and Hot Foil Dies).

On a Thick Basic White card base, I’ve covered it with a piece of the Neutral Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP).

The Hot Foil Dies are placed onto the HFS with some Gold Foil and Peaceful Pine Two-Tone card stock. I stamped the basket in Pecan Pie ink. Then I used the arch die in the set to cut it out. I placed Dimensionals on the back and adhered it to the card base.

The sentiment [Christmas Mice] was stamped in Versamark ink, Gold WOW Emboss Powder added and melted with my Heat Tool. This was also added on Mini Dimensionals. Some Festive Pearls finish the card front.

On the inside and on the envelope, I stamped the tree and Gold heat embossed the star and the string of lights.

Heart of Christmas – Week 1

Christmas Mice Waterfall Card

My card this week is another Waterfall card using the Christmas Mice Bundle and the A Little Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP).

The feature on the front consists of a Peaceful Pine cardstock cut with the Everyday Arches dies. The white window and all the other pieces are from the Christmas Mice stamp set and coordinating dies. I stamped the mouse in Crumb Cake ink onto Crumb Cake card. The hat, candy cane and bow are stamped in Black Memento ink onto Basic White card and coloured using Cherry Cobbler Blends Combo Markers. The white section of the hat has Wink of Stella for some glitter. I placed the mouse behind the window frame and trimmed the body that was overhanging so it appears to be inside! I added Mini Dimensionals to the back and smaller pieces of Dimensionals cut with scissors to the window frame then added it to the arch.

As you open the card, a cascading waterfall of decorated panels is a wonderful surprise!

On the first opening I have added panels of DSP and a Peaceful Pine strip across the centre with the sentiment stamped in the same colour ink. The next panel to fold down, has DSP below and some Shimmering Stripes Specialty Paper for real sparkle! Another mouse is stamped in the same way as the previous one, and the gift is coloured with Cherry Cobbler and Peaceful Pine Blends Combo Markers. The sentiment is done the same way as the previous panel. On the final panel to fold down, I added a simple Basic White panel to write my message to the recipient!

Cherry Cobbler: Two fun fold Christmas cards from one sheet of cardstock

Week 15 – Cherry Cobbler

My cards this week are fun fold cards that I cased from Fiona Carson (NZ demonstrator). As a demonstrator benefit, we can preorder product a month before it becomes available to purchase, and with the upcoming September-December catalogue imminent, I have made my Cherry Cobbler cards with Christmas in mind!

The Christmas Mice Bundle is so cute and features on my first card. The designer paper is A Little Christmas DSP and the sentiment is a new set, Soiree Saulations.

and with the leftover cardstock you can create this second card with no wastage. Both of these cards, use one sheet of A4 cardstock!

The Joyous Friends stamp set has some adorable aussie animals and here is one of the stamps featuring the koala in a gumtree wreath.
