Varied Vases with the Stamparatus!

Dear Crafters,

Today I share a card we made at my recent classes. This was a simple design to show my ladies how to use the Stamparatus (stamp positioning tool).

Varied Vases Stampin Up Feminine Card by Kate Morgan, Australia

We inked the floral outlines in Basic Gray, stamping it once, moved the hinged plate down one notch and stamp again and repeat. On another plate we had the shelf inked in Smoky Slate ink. Then on the reverse of the first plate, we inked up the flowers in 3 different colours; Petal Pink, Coastal Cabana & Highland Heather. We punched out some vases in 3 of the new in colours; Blueberry Bushel, Lovely Lipstick & Pineapple Punch and added them with dimensionals.

Here’s how to reserve your Stamparatus!

  • Click here for instructions on how to RESERVE your Stamparatus
  • To reserve a Stamparatus, you must have a customer account. To create one, click Create Account on the online store.
  • Why does it take so long for the Stamparatus to ship? We will place an order with the manufacturer based on how many reservations are made during any given reservation window. Shipping dates depend on how long it takes the order to arrive in our warehouse after the tools have been manufactured.
  • You will be required to have a credit card to reserve the product, however you won’t be billed immediately. When inventory arrives in the warehouse, they will add your reservation to a shopping cart, then send you an email notifying you that your Stamparatus order is ready. Once you finalise payment and close your order, the system will charge your credit card.
  • If you change your mind and want to cancel your reservation, you can at any time. To cancel, please see the How to Reserve Your Stamparatus Tutorial for Customers PDF.
  • The tool will be available in the 2018–2019 annual catalogue!
  • There is a limit of 1 per reservation window.

How did we come up with the name Stamparatus?
We landed on an innovative name by combining two words that speak to the end use of the tool as well as Stampin’ Up! branding.
Stamp: To impress a pattern or mark (especially an official one) on a surface, object, or document using an engraved or inked block or die or other instrument
Apparatus: The technical equipment or machinery needed for a particular activity or purpose
Stamp + Apparatus = Stamparatus

Make sure you watch the video to see how it works with Photopolymer and Clear Mount red rubber stamps! The plates are removable, flip up and down, side to side, no other stamp positioning tool can do that!!!!

I will be reserving mine at 8am tomorrow for sure!!!!

Morning Stampers,

Small Scallop Stampin’ Trimmer Rotary Cutting Blade

Introducing the new and improved Stampin’ Trimmer! Although paper trimmers are a common crafting tool, this trimmer was designed exclusively by paper crafters for paper crafters-and because it was made by Stampin’ Up!, you know it’s a cut above the rest!

Click this link to see it in action:

Features of the All-New Stampin’ Trimmer

  • An extra-wide 15.9 cm cutting base and an extended 39 cm ruler
    • The extra-wide cutting base provides a large work area and is marked in 4 mm increments, allowing for small measurements.
    • The right-side grid helps you measure and cut very thin strips.
    • The extended cutting arm has a stabilizing leg to provide a sturdy and steady cutting surface for longer cuts.
    • When fully extended, the extended cutting arm sits flush with the trimmer base, providing more accurate and consistent measurements across the entire surface.
    • All rulers and measurements on the base are printed under a plastic cover so your measurements won’t wear off.
    • The base has nonskid feet, which keeps the Stampin’ Trimmer securely in place on your work area.
  • A full 30.5 cm cutting and scoring track
    • The extra-long cutting track has space at the top and bottom so you don’t have to take the cutting and scoring blades out when you’re not using them.
    • The track gives you enough space to cut or score a full 30.5 cm without having to remove or switch out handles.
    • The cutting track locks in place for secure storage or transport.
    • The track includes an insertion point for cutting and scoring blade handles so you can easily insert handles into the cutting track.
  • Specially designed handles and cutting track to ensure straight cuts
    • The hook on the scoring and cutting blade handles keeps the handles stable so the cuts are as straight as possible.
    • Handles come in two colours: dark for cutting, light for scoring.
    • The precision tip on the cutting blade allows you to pinpoint precisely where you’re cutting.
    • The point on the side of each handle shows you where the blade will cut, making it easy to see exactly where your cuts and scores will begin.
  • Storage compartment under base
    • The storage compartment holds scoring and cutting tools such as a Bone Folder, Simply Scored Stylus, extra scoring and cutting blades and even business cards.
    • Separate compartments within the storage compartment keep your tools organised, and the clear cover makes it easy to see what you’ve stored.
