Each Monday evening until mid-December, I am taking part in the Heart of Christmas blog hop showcasing our amazing range of holiday products from the Annual and July-December Mini catalogues. Please hop along and enjoy some fabulous inspiration from our talented team!
I was pleased with this card as it came together. I adore that pretty patterned DSP with the berries (Painted Christmas), so that was my starting point for this card, as I built up the background layers.
I stamped some of the berries (Real Red & Evening Evergreen ink) to compliment the patterned paper and some greenery (Soft Succulent & Evening Evergreen inks), but it still needed more, so I stamped four pinecones in Crumb Cake and Early Espresso inks.
On the inside I added some DSP and pinecones to compliment the front!
Thanks for dropping by.

Gorgeous card that does that beautiful paper justice Kate. I really like the way you altered the greeting to fit the scalloped rectangle and the gems sprinkled among the foliage is just the right amount of bling.

I am just loving this card Kate! The DSP is just beautiful and all the elements that you have stamped and added are just perfect! I love that scalloped rectangle that you have layered over the top and then stamped on and layered the elements on. I think I use Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent a lot and just love those colours that you have added and based your card around!

Such a beautiful layout Kate and love your layering of berries, leaves and pine cones. The white scalloped mat with the paper piercing is so pretty along with the jewels to add sparkle.

Kate I really like the way you have carried over the pattern and the colours from the DSP onto the stamped and die cut elements on your card – it is so classic and simply stunning!

Love your card Kate. Two of my favourite colours in the Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. I love how the leaves spill out over the label die-cut layer, and the softness that the Soft Succulent ribbon and gems add.

Such a beautiful card, Kate! I agree, the pinecones were the perfect addition to the front of your card (and nice to carry the theme on to the inside). I love the scalloped rectangle die, the stamps, papers, and colours you’ve used; all just lovely.
