Each week some of the Art With Heart team are joining the Colour Creations Blog Hop to bring you creative inspiration to showcase our range of 50+ gorgeous Stampin’ Up! colours.
A blog hop, also known as blog hopping, is to move from one blog to another, continuing in a full circle to read all the posts by participants in the hop. At the end of each post will be a link to continue to the next blog!
Week 8 – Cajun Craze
Well, here we are at Cajun Craze, my least used colour in the range! I really struggle with this colour and to me it would be great tone for Terracotta pots, but of course I do not have any stamp sets of this kind!
My next idea is chocolate or coffee, I mean who doesn’t love either of these?!!!! The Nothing’s Better Than stamp set and coordinating Love You More Than dies were the go, along with the Stitched So Sweetly dies for the sentiment to be stamped on. I had all these done but nothing in the background. I tried lots of different papers, but nothing seemed to work, then I stumbled across this paper from the In Good Taste papers (on sale this month!) and I think it works beautifully, a bit like a tablecloth.
Check out those fancy chocolates with the gold gilded leafing on them. Yep, very fancy chocolates!
and the perfect sentiment for the inside 😉
I think this card could be given to anyone, as it is neither masculine or feminine.
Thanks for dropping by. All the products used tonight are linked at the end of this post!

Ah coffee and chocolates! Yum. That paper goes so well along with the use of the gold embossing for a bit of a highlight.

I’ll have the coffee and chocolates please especially during lockdown. I love your card and yes the DSP looks just like my table cloth.

Coffee and chocolate – yes please! The gold gilded chocolates look good enough to eat, and make mine a cappuccino. Great card Kate, and the background DSP pattern really does look like a tablecloth! I had actually made a card using the same bundle, but decided to keep it for another colour showcase instead, which is why I had only a small piece left to create tonight’s card with.

Hahahaha!!!! I LOVE that you’ve added both coffee and chocolate to your card – it’s so clever! Why stick with one, when you can have both? Genus!

What a great idea to use the DSP as a tablecloth! Your card is wonderfully creative and is making me very hungry for two of my most favourite things in the world. The gilded leafing looks good enough to eat on those chocolates too.

That paper sure does look like a tablecloth! Great backdrop for your little coffee and chocolate scene, Kate. The gilded leafing adds an extra special touch to the chocolates. You’ve showcaed Cajun Craze beautifully!
