Week 38 – Pumpkin Pie
Pumpkin Pie is one of my least used colours in the Stampin’ Up! range. I haven’t used much of it in my card today, but I actually love how it looks with Misty Moonlight.
I took a piece of the patterned paper from the Dandy Garden 6″ x 6″ DSP pack. I cut the piece to fit my White card base.
I stamped the butterfly image twice in Memento Black ink using the Stamparatus, then die cut them both. Placing them on the card I wanted to add a sentiment through the centre at an angle, so I cut a strip out of the centre of the DSP before gluing the two pieces at either end of the card base.
The butterflies are coloured with Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers; Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody, Misty Moonlight & Granny Apple Green. They are add with dimensionals to the card.
This sentiment from the Quite Curvy stamp set, is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink. I coloured some pearls with the Light Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Marker.

What a beautiful colour combination, Kate – one I never would have thought of! It looks SO good, especially with those beautiful butterflies. Love your choice of background paper, and the way you coloured the pearls. This is a gorgeous card. I think we may have a new-found respect for Pumpkin Pie!
