Sorry I missed doing a Christmas themed post last week, but things were a bit busy and I was in hospital having my infusion on the Thursday and didn’t have such a pleasant experience and took a little longer to recovery (long story, but not my usual nurse to put in the cannula!). Anyway, I am back, so welcome to Week 15 of The Heart of Christmas: Handmade Inspiration from the Art with Heart team!
My project today uses the Musical Season the stamp set and the coordinating dies, Musical Instruments Framelits, Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Bridge Fold Technique.
Wow, this Specialty Designer Series Paper is so striking! It has this gorgeous shine when you catch it in the light.
Tutorials for this Bridge Fold technique can be found on YouTube. There are quite a few and I have adapted the measurements to our Australian cardstock sizes. Click here for my written tutorial!
Here is the back of the card, where you can write your message. I have added the harp stamped in smoky slate and die cut.
and as you can see, it fits into our C6 envelopes for posting!!!!

Kate, this is a gorgeous card and I love the diagonal cut on the bridge piece, it gives it such a different look to the whole card. Love it! 🙂
