Anyone for a cuppa?

Dear Crafters,

Today’s card uses the Cups & Kettle Framelits dies from the Occasions catalogue which are on the Retiring products list, so get them before they are gone.

My colour scheme: Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Wisteria Wonder & Whisper White.

Cups & Kettle Framelits, Feminine Handmade Card, stampinup, Occasions2016

Can you believe there is no stamping on this card?  Only on the envelope!

I love how there are so many colours, but using card stock and Have a Cuppa DSP is such a quick and easy way to create with these coordinating Stampin’ Up! products.

Some simple banners using the Banner Triple Punch layered over the card make for a fun background over the embossed card base (Large Polka Dot TIEF).

I die cut the teapot and teabag and added them with dimensionals and some White Baker’s Twine for the teabag string! Also some Venetian Crochet Trim under the teapot.

Don’t forget to stamp #imbringingbirthdaysback on the envelope!

I think this is such a fun card that you could use for Mother’s Day, thinking of you, birthdays, anything at all!   What do you think?

Dino Roar

Dear Crafters,

Dinosaur Roar #stampinup

Today I share a card I made using the No Bones About It stamp set!

I have used Old Olive, Very Vanilla and Wild Wasabi as my colours combination.

Dinosaur Roar #stampinup

I stamped the skeleton image over the Very Vanilla card and then embossed it with the Large Polka Dot TIEF.

Dinosaur Roar #stampinup

Notice the inside panel? I cut it to size and then carefully stamped the dinosaur (from the front of the card) at one end and used the oval framelits to die cut it out, so I could use what was left for the inside panel of my card and stamp this next image in the centre of the oval. Never waste anything!!!!

Ready for Convention 2015

Dear Crafters,

I am getting in early today as I am heading to the airport in an hour or so, to travel to the Gold Coast for the Stampin’ Up! Convention!!!! Yay!!! So exciting!!!!

So today, I want to share with you my Convention Swaps. These are card fronts that we, as demonstrators make, to swap with other demonstrators on the first morning of Convention. I have made 52 to take and swap tomorrow morning in various mixed colours. Here are a few of them:

Stampin' Up! Owl Balloon

Sorry they have a bit of reflection, but I seal them into plastic bags so they stay nice and clean and don’t get ruined in my bag travelling.

I have embossed a piece of Whisper White card stock with the Large Polka Dot TIEF. The balloons are die cut from the Balloon Framelits which are still available in the Occasions Catalogue. These are embossed with the Lucky Stars TIEF or Decorative Dots TIEF. The sentiments are stamped from A Dozen Thoughts stamp set.

The owl is made using the Owl Builder Punch and Sahara Sand card stock and coordinating Designer Series Paper. His wings are made using the wings from the Bird Builder Punch. Don’t you love the way I have folded his left wing to hold the twine?!!! So damn cute! The owl is attached to the card with dimensionals.

Little Buddy

Hello  Crafters,
The challenge this week at Just Add Ink is Just Add a SketchJAI#238.
I hadn’t inked up the stamp set, Little Buddy Birthday, so I stamped the birthday cake image in Calypso Coral ink over the same colour card base to create the background. Then I cut a banner from the Confetti Celebrations DSP with the Banners Framelits.
Little Buddy Birthday
I used the Circles Framelits to die cut the large circle and embossed it with the Large Polka Dot TIEF.
Little Buddy Birthday

I stamped the image directly onto the Confetti Celebrations DSP and cut it out with paper snips. I thought that was the perfect patterned paper for this cute little critter!!!

Next, I stamped the birthday cake image, coloured it with Stampin’ Write Markers and punched it out with the 1″ circle punch. I then added an epoxy resin circle over the top.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set and punched out with the Modern Label punch before sponging the edges with the coordinating ink and a sponge dauber.
